If this drama discussed warfare and war strategy and other real aspects I think then it wouldn't be adrama but a political discourse. I think knowledge and plot should go hand in hand not separately. Jiayu does her things which sometimes may seem unacceptable but take it as a girl learning her hobby and pursuing it. Second- longer the drama more chances of losing storyline in between.
It's tightly woven drama. For me ..it has done what so many dramas couldn't do. Xiao wuyi has made me fall in love with him. So no matter what happens this drama stands for me.

HMH ..the aura you have in this drama is unmatched. Have I ever been this obsessed with a drama? Hell no. Will I again be obsessed with a drama? Idk. But you ...and whoever has brought all this together ...you people have made me fall in love with someone many things. Especially those characters. There were so many dramas where I stayed because of just one character. But here....I had so many reasons to watch. So many. I will be very sad when this drama is over. But whatever I have felt with those osts and emotional scenes will be etched in my heart for a long time
