I get where you coming from, after watching alot of cheesy cdramas i can confirm yup, quality story is better, but everytime i see a sad ending, i just goes,

If anyone want to know why ratings are dropping, it's not bcz of drama itself, it's mostly bcz Ppl are playing jigsaw with subs just to understand a single scene/diloge, when viki airs it with better subs, more ppl will pick it up then rating might go up.
