I agree! It has a strong hold on me. I don’t know, I feel it’s the pacing, the music, lighting and the way the story unfolds between each character and couple. It feels deeply personal and intimate. I love it.

I watched ep 10: as a huge lover and supporter of this series, I can say this is probably the most “depressing” of all the episodes just because FahTorn are my ship of choice. And their relationship has taken a huge hit in this one, with the lack of communication, no time for each other, promises being broken and not putting priorities in order to maintain a healthy r/s. I get it, Fah’s dream is to play basketball and he is working hard towards that, but Torn is understanding and even had a talk saying he is okay with Fah spending time with Chain and practicing for long hours. However, Fah just doesn’t know how to properly communicate his feelings, and does not know how to keep promises or spend some quality time with his man. It’s realistic in some aspects but this obstacle between FahTorn seems unnecessary? Seeing as they clearly love each other. Also, can we talk about how Torn is such a great boyfriend!! Like, everything he does is just so sweet, romantic and understanding. Overall, I need Fah to seriously work on being a better partner to Torn and really help him pursue his own dreams as well, together. Next episode is going to be a rollercoaster, I sense it. 😬

At first I was like, oh Fah is suppose to be stiff and poker faced. So it fits the acting from Tae, the straight faced look with no emotions or expressions. Then when Torn and him got together, I feel like we don’t get enough dimensions to his acting. It’s still quite one tone, and not giving the right expression for what the scene calls for. Fah also has that puppy-eyed look most of the time when talking to Torn. Suar who plays Torn on the other hand is really a good actor and I think having him as a partner helped. It kind of shows that good looks aren’t everything. 😌

The cinematography, music and lighting is really something. It’s beautifully done. ❤️

Suar has really impressed me throughout the series! Jump and Porsche are close second. But wow, Suar can really bring the emotions needed for each scene. Must be the big eyes.

Ahaha I thought I was the only one thinking this. I think they are verse. Cause as much as Fah seems dominant in his presence and has a “masculine” frame, I think he is a major softy for Torn. And the idea of Torn topping him isn’t as “inconceivable”, I think he can be very vulnerable to Torn. So, that being said….I didn’t read the novel, it might have said something else. But from this perspective, I think they switched. They are very much equals in many aspects, even in bed I believe. ☺️😉

I agree. I think Fah can come off a little stiff and his acting isn’t the best. So, it does affect the MC chemistry on screen. Torn is super expressive and acts really well but you need a partner equally willing to go there. Perhaps with more acting classes and workshops it might improve in the future? I noticed a lot of ppl feel that way about the actor who plays Fah. 😅

I agree that Suar’s acting is superior in many ways. He just jumps off the screen, and his emotions are so real and genuinely portrayed. He has a lot of promise in the acting department. Impressed by Jump and some scenes with Porsche. 👍🏼

Yeah I have heard mixed reviews bout the MC. some people loveee them, but love mostly Torn (or Suar the actor who plays him). But some ppl don’t like FahTorn as the lead. But you know, it’s subjective and diff ppl have diff preferences perhaps.

I really hope FahTorn don't have a huge misunderstanding and that Fah will remain loyal to Torn. I don't think I can sit through 2episodes of our baby Torn crying because he was hurt by Fah...I swear I will not be able to handle him crying. But, I sincerely hope there will be a mature conversation and that Fah will be mature and honest about his feelings.

I was like, I knew their relationship was too good to be true with no obstruction or obstacles. This “potential cheating” plot line reminds me of ITSAY when Teh fell for Jai when they “practiced” together and gave excuses about late nights and long hours. But was secretly infatuated with someone else. But pls don’t go there YMS. FahTorn are just too precious.

All I am gonna say is: Fah better not cheat on Torn right after literally asking him to move into his condo. And after saying “I love you” and making future commitments together. I swear to God I will break some backs to protect our baby Torn’s heart. Omg, Fah just don’t do anything stupid or that you will regret. 😣 as for their first night sleeping together, it was so beautifully done and the subtle yet sensual shots, from the eyes to the legs in intertwined, movement and lighting - amazing. Couldn’t have done better. Was tasteful yet conveys how much they love each other in that moment. Torn you go get your reward! 😉 also, how oblivious was Fah that Torn was in love with him for many years…since high school. Lol

After watching Ep9, this show again exceeds all my expectations. The cinematography by the beach is brilliant, the music is perfectly placed for each moment and the chemistry for each couple is through the roof! I loved everything about this episode right until the end…(spoiler below)

Omg when I saw Fah pat that guy’s head…I was fuming! 😡the way Fah suddenly became so touchy and happy when he saw him…I don’t have a good feeling about it. At all.

I will agree with you that Tae who plays Fah needs more work polishing his acting skills. He can come off wooden and a little stiff most of the scenes. It seems challenging for him to emote or express for the audience to truly feel his character’s thoughts. That being said, he has improved significantly since Y Destiny, he played Ake. His acting in that was (no offense) really quite bad, and like you said even if you are handsome doesn’t mean you can act well. Tupfah in ep 8 did show some emotional range, and I can see the effort. As for Dome, the actor was 17 while filming, and has no experience in acting. So, maybe in time and with acting classes…he will improve. 🙏🏼

Go off queen! Yess I agree completely with this statement. This series is more than the superficial, it’s deep and meaningful. The main CPs relationship and love story stems from basketball and their love for the game and each other. I love how their passion for basketball bleeds into their passion for each other. They support, nurture and comfort each other in bb and in life. The parallels are endless, and I love how the show has woven that into their love story. amazing stuff! 👏🏼👏🏼
