Yes, it is a refreshing break from frustrations and annoyance from watching makjang.

You can delay watching FAMILY REGISTER for 1 to 2 weeks and watch WHENEVER POSSIBLE for a while.
Each episode is 30 minutes for FAMILY so you can catch up easily and join in the comments. 😁

I stopped watching until Season 4 epsiode 10 because I was addicted to First Man.
I have just resumed watching episode 11 and I found myself really LOL. Some of the people who wrote in to join the Show and the guests are hilarious.

For me, I choose to drop dramas, makjang or otherwise, based only on my gut feeling and if I like the lead couple or not.

I like Ham Eun Jung too but I dropped QUEEN'S HOUSE after only 4 episodes because of the cheating husband's scenes with that bxxxxy face mistress as well as I cannot stand the scary wide eyes of the husband Park something.

I dropped Desperate Mrs Seonu after 4 episodes too because the FL smiled too wide and too often, even when she faced problems. 😅

I also dropped GRACEFUL LIAR after 6 episodes because the FL cannot emote and that scary monster mother of 2FL. 😅

Once I dropped a drama, I do not read comments of that drama unlike some commenters in MDL. 

The FL in the next makjang FAMILY REGISTER is Park Se something.  I have watched some of her old dramas.  She has incredibly big eyes and they do not look like she had plastic surgery for them. 

Instead of risking a waste of time and unnecessary frustration, may I suggest you try family drama BE MY DREAM FAMILY, a rather old drama.  Ham EJ only played a support role.

All in all, I did enjoy watching First Man. It is far better than WOMAN WHO SWALLOWED THE SUN.
The FL looked like the ML's mother's younger sister.

Oh!  Did you watch THE MOVIE starring Nam Goong Min?  The 2FL won Baekseang Best New Actress.  The same actress is now the FL in THE HUSBAND.

The viewers are the biased ones. Remember Junho scolded Hwayoung for using him to persuade Seorin to go for the 'death' surgery?  Hwayoung told Junho that they should try to get Seorin on their side.  Since Seorin is vain and unhappy woth the scar on her face, having the surgery will make Seorin easier to manage.

Junho's character is written as less likeable, less warm, sullen and arrogant.  We saw this side of his character when he first appeared as a chef.
But viewers were unable to accept his character or I should say they hate such characters.

Park Geon Il did a good job in his portrayal of Junho.  While searching if there were really 141 episodes last week, I saw a comment which came from S Korea that he did a great job in First Man.

Personally, Yoon Sun Woo aka Baekho had an easier with Baekho character.  I hate his mumbling and sounding like a child when he was teasing Jangmi like he wanted a kiss.
Baekho character is one-dimensional.

I do hope Park Geon Il will receive more offers for main roles.

I will wait for family drama LOVE ON THE MENU to begin.  In the meantime, I will check out Agent Reactivated, The Husband, Melo Movie.  Did you watch Melo?  Just found out that it is very underrated and I am not fond of Choi Woo Shik who looks like a teenager. 😆

The side-dish shop and living quarters are rented property.  Bokgil did not own the property.

Sanwol & Hongju are unrelated to the Ma family so they are not obliged to support them.  I think I am veeeerrry gracious to suggest Chairman pays one-year rent for a small apartment for these two Snakes.  😅
They have to support themselves.  If Hongju did not abet with Hwayoung to have Chairman killed, then they could be shown leniency.  But how could the Ma family trust that they would not harm the family again?

I thought I was seeing things when I saw Hongju standing in Baekho's office as his secretary? Although Hongju apologised to Jangmi, her face clearly revealed resentment and bitterness before the apology.

Jangmi knows Hongju is still not over her husband, then have her transferred to another department or another country.

Junho and Seorin becoming a couple in their afterlives made me 😳🤢🤮.
