Myeongji was very shrewd and did check the notebook. There was no time to do a fake notebook. Seyeong needed time to look for a similar notebook and Myeongji could tell it was a new notebook and recognize the handwriting was not hers.

@joetoca and I expected her to take photos instead of going to a shop and asked the staff to make photocopies because the person doing it might read the contents unintentionally.

Na Young Hee's wailing by the bath tub was very sad yet powerful which made me cry.  And later her scolding Seyeong during her confession.  She has won 2 Baeksang awards in her acting history and she certainly deserves another Baeksang for CG.

After Seyeong knelt and apologised, she should have passed the photocopies of her mum's notebook to Sungho and Yeojin.  But she passed it to a third party Jingu which is not right.

It is laughable and ridiculous that Sungho met Myeongji to persuade her to confess to murder and told her Yeojin was unwell. Myeongji would only laugh and gloat.

Why is Seyeong not jailed for embezzlement of $2 million?  This Writer have her embezzled $2 million and then let her off.
This is morally wrong.  Embezzlement will land the culprit in jail in any country.
Mamamia!  What's worse to come is Snake Seyeong becomes Sweetie Seyeong who betrays her mum and singlehandedly lands her mum in jail. 

I expect a time-skip as none of the Goo siblings will be able to accept Seyeong as a sister-in-law right now. But I think we will see Jiseok pair up with Seyeong one or two years later. 🤨🫤

I have not changed my opinion. I like CG from the beginning. I like it that there is a mystery element and acting from most of the actors/actresses is good especially the two veteran actresses.

But I have dropped dramas when I cannot stand the sight of the ML or FL or when the acting of the ML or FL is lousy and frequent yelling and hair-pulling from the mothers or mother-in-law.

It all boils down to one's likes/dislikes and tolerance level too.

Detective Cho has already betrayed her but she was still not in jail.
I'm going to watch the subbed episode now. Maybe I can figure it out.

She did appear like she was up to something when she watched her mum checking the notebook. And she was not flustered on seeing Myeongji burning it.

Deb, no offence but I still do not think the adoptive mother is the biological mother because she is not even in a support role or guest role. Hana is the FL so my gut feeling is that Yeojin is her biological mum. Although it was never mentioned that she had two daughters, I guess it could be as I said, her family gave Hana away for adoption and told Yeojin her daughter died soon after birth. I got this idea from another kdrama. 🤭
This way, it is jaw-dropping and this is makjang after all.
