You will laugh when you read this... I was in the shower when, out of the blue, the theory that Hana could be Sungho's biological daughter came to my mind. I brushed it off initially. Then, after my shower, this theory kept bothering me. That was when I started to consider Hana's biological mum having a relationship with Sungho. One thing leads to another. 😄
But very few commenters seem to agree with me. 😄
If you did not mention about Yeojin's cold behaviour to Seyeong, I would not have noticed it. Yes, now I recall how cold Yeojin has always been towards Seyeong. I don't remember any scene of just the both of them chatting. Thanks for pointing it out. ☺️

To me - for the FL, Hana, to ride on the coattails of Eunchong seems somewhat unusual or shall I say inappropriate because Eunchong is only 6 yo. It is not the norm in kdrama.
I was sure there has to be some sort of familial relationship between Yeojin and Hana.

Both Yeojin & Jingoo have valid points. Yeojin said Hana is not alone but has 3 siblings whom she is very close to. There is a chamce she might spill the beans even accidentally. Not a single soul knows of Eunchong's existence and nothing bad has happened to him thus far. Yeojin does not know Hana well enough to trust her. But the downside of not letting Hana know is she will NOT be on guard which might put Eunchong into danger. Also Hana will be in danger so Yeojin should seek her permission first.
I think I speak for everyone in this comment section when I say that the Jingoo-Seyoung breakup can't happen fast…

Others cannot gossip that she became the heiress only because she raised Eunchong. When Eunchong becomes an adult, he can take over the top position from Hana.

But Jingoo's stand that Yeojin must trust Hana or she will be very hurt if she found out or she might even die as Yujin's daughter are also true.
In order to protect Eunchong, Yeojin makes Hana as Yujin so if someone wanted to harm her only heir, he would target Hana. However, because Hana and Eunchong are often together, Eunchong might be in danger too. For e.g. if Hana and Eunchong are in a car, and a killer-driver crashed into the car. Then both will die. Or Hana and Eunchong are crossing the road and a truck crashed into them.
It is better for Yeojin to say that Hana is her late classmate's or late friend's daughter. And Yeojin has no plans to make Hana the heir. Both Hana and Eunchong will not be in any danger then.
Sungho is no longer using a disguise. Once Myeongji spotted him, his days will be numbered...he will end up like Yujin. When that happened, Yeojin will become anxious and insist to Jingoo that Hana & Eunchong move in with Yeojin.
