SJ is written as a goody-two-shoes character, nevertheless, SJ is not responsible for NY's wrongdoings or her warped mind.
SJ is also not to be held responsible if NY insisted on living her life in a self-centred, devious and malicious manner. We were shown how SJ was shot down by trash-spewing YJ when she tried to advise NY early in the drama.
The only person whom others can place the blame on is only YJ not even JS because he was burdened with supporting a family of 5. YJ failed to raise her own daughter well but kept putting wrong bad thoughts into NY's head about SJ since young.
The other person to be responsible is none other than NY herself. During that period of time when SJ lost her job and left home, she did feel slightly remorseful but told herself that SJ will always be able to overcome any problem. She did not help SJ in the least bit but left her to drown and SJ almost died.
NY knew she was wrong but chose to continue walking the wrong path. No one forced her, it was her own choice.
We cannot blame others for our own bad choices in life. We cannot blame others for NOT stopping us for walking the wrong path when we ourselves know, for a fact, that path is wrong. Others have their own problems to take care of.

We saw YJ slapping SJ when she is an adult so I really dare not imagine how badly YJ has emotionally and physically abused SJ when she was a little girl.
In the beginning of this drama, it did cross my mind, as I watched SJ scolding NY about something, and then YJ intervened and scolded SJ - SJ did not have the freedom to correct her younger siblings because of YJ. Also, YJ should be responsible for teaching the children as she did not hold a job after she kicked SY out.
NY and SJ have opposite characters (they took after their mums), it is unreasonable to ask SJ to understand how a malicious evil mind is working in NY.
I feel so sorry for HS. If he had not returned to SKorea, he would not be severely injured now. None of these conflicts is his doing.
JT must be feeling very downtrodden, that after scheming not to bring home little HW 25 years ago when he spotted him at Haedeul Convalescent Centre, his flesh and blood HS, is now paying heavily for his sins with severe head injuries. And HW is well and healthy and reunited with MR whom JT separated from.
Like many of you, I don't get why JT refused to disclose to MR that NY blackmailed him, how she hated SJ and that she has her eye on Haedeul Foundation. I mean MR asked him specifically what NY wanted when she helped him to tamper the DNA samples etc. By not disclosing the whole nasty truth of NY, JT is still harbouring ill intentions against MR.
