well he cant totally blame his mom. he still could have left. it was an emergency what could she do to him? make…
Yes, Kyung Min could have defied Jeong Woo's mum and left to pick up his drunken dad. Jeong Woo's mum commented earlier that she was paying him a high fee to tutor her son because she wanted him to put in his best to tutor Jeong Woo as well as she knew his family has financial issues.
So it was either lose this well-paid tutoring job which his family relied on heavily or pick up his drunken dad. He made the decision to stay and not pick up his dad and his dad died in a car accident. In the same vein, if Jeong Woo's mum had been compassionate and gave him permission to leave, his dad would not have died.
My comment that I cried for Kyung Min was because, in life we, including myself, have made decisions which we later regret painfully.
Ep 13 made me cry a lot. I cried for Jeong Woo. Jeong Woo's painful cry of betrayal in his discovery of Kyung Min's bad doings made my heart break. Park Hyung Sik - Good Job!
I cried for Kyung Min too. To have one's dad die because your student's mum disallowed you to pick up your dad which resulted in his death. He must have felt like there is a leash on his neck. Very heart-wrenching for Kyung Min. But I am not supporting his revengeful deeds.
I expect ML & FL will achieve healing in the last episode (or earlier). π Some viewers can critisize this drama for all I care...because which drama is perfect?
I am enjoying every minute of this drama from Day One! π
I really enjoy this show, but let's be real. If Ha Neul really had a part of her lung removed, fractured ribs…
πππ I was about to write a similar comment about Haneul.
Assuming Haneul's chest surgery was, say, 3 weeks ago, she would not be able to stand up from a sitting position, close an open umbrella and stretch out her arms to hug Jeong Woo soooo easily.
Am I glad I started watching this drama! Hesitated initially because I thought it was just a comedy only. But no...every crime story is so intriguing and the main and supporting cast are good too. Not forgetting the funny moments when Joon Young was under hypnosis and became overly caring to Yi Soo. πππ I would love to see Yi Soo and Kang Hyun become a couple in episode 16. π
Yeah kind of unfortunate if they do this or if they they go the melodramtic road and she dies. That preview shows…
I have been tricked by previews in other dramas so I will just wait patiently for one week with my fingers crossed. Haneul cannot...must not die...otherwise Jeong Woo' mental state will go downhill. It will be painful to watch. π₯Ί
Ok...I understand Haneul was pressured to get into KM's car due to the queue of honking cars but...for Haneul to confront KM and show him documents while he is driving...is simply courting accident and death. Writer, why are you making a fool of your female lead whom you made a top student? π
Seems like Haneul will be in a coma until ep 16. No more romantic scenes until then. π§
Much as I dislike Haneulβs brother for lazing around most of the time, I totally agree with him that we should not sweep things under the carpet but be open and honest with each other especially with family members. Problems will not disappear if we sweep them under the carpet but they may emerge as bigger problems later.
Hong Ran is not a friend. Hanuel did tell her in episode 2 or 3 that she had depression but Hong Ran was dismissive and showed no concern. Now Hong Ran tells Hanuel that Jeong Woo rejected a job offer because of her?! The chances of Hanuel breaking up with Jeong Woo will be high yet Hong Ran did it. π π€¬
This drama is very realistic in that a person's mental health can be very fragile when he/she has not fully recovered hence certain situations can trigger a meltdown as in Haneul's case. People around them need to be supportive and caring. In the same vein, Haneul also needs to be open with Jeong Woo when he asked her if something happened in the hospital. Then he will be able to encourage and comfort her.
It will be painful to watch them coping with the breakup. But all will be well towards the end. π Oh...how I love this drama! π
It ia sad to learn of Jeong Woo's lack of parental love and concern since young.
Now that he is cleared of legal issues, he should be able to reopen his clinic and hire Hanuel as his anaesthetist. But we are only at episode 7. π Maybe not yet but it will pan out in this way. π₯° Kyungmin? Is he the villain or not?
Iβm at episode 4. Doctor Slump with elements of conspiracy, comedy and romance is my top favourite right now. Park Hyung Sik is the one holding up this drama with his acting talents. He is natural, funny and so expressive with his eyes. I cannot find fault with Park Shin Hyeβs acting in this drama but I am biased towards Park Hyung Sik. Both Parks have such great screen chemistry which is one of the reasons that is critical for the success of a drama! π
Someone commented the next season will be in Japan. How many Korean actors can speak Japanese? Language difficulties will impede making small talk with the customers. Getting to know brief personal accounts of the customers' lives really makes this show heartwarming especially the difficult life of the butcher in Season 2. That scene made me cried buckets of tears.
Each season has its own vibes and merits. I have simply enjoyed the three seasons. Unexpected Business is the most heartwarming variety show in my book. Pleeease Season 4 and more!

Hope that explains my comment.
Just watch it. Give it a chance upto to 3 episodes. Then drop it you hate it.
I am now at episode 13 and I have enjoyed every minute of it. βΊοΈ
If you are not Park Hyung Sik's fan now...you will highly likely be one. π
