I get it that this is a fantasy drama. Eun Gyeol travels back to 1995 (though it is not by choice) and is trying to prevent his father Yi Chan from becoming deaf. I thought about it and wondered if EG managed to prevent YC from deafness, then what will happen to YC in 2023? Will YC in 2023 be able to hear suddenly? Answer is NO.
Hence it goes to show that history cannot be changed. If history can be changed, the present will have to change too? YC will certainly become deaf from an accident, marry Chung Ah and have two sons.
The key point of this drama is to enable EG to understand and appreciate his parents who have to go through a lot of suffering to be together. Just before he entered 1995, he fought with his dad that he no longer want to be his trophy and pleaded with his dad to let him live his life his own way.
EG will return to 2023 on the night of 2 moons, reconcile with dad who will finally realise that he should allow EG to live his own life without guilt and pain because EG deserves it. That is my personal speculation. ☺️

Personally, I would prefer Park Bo Gum to play Ha Eun Gyeol. He acts very well and sings well too.
