Because this is revenge drama, I chose that manner of death for Gyeongchae because it will, first, shock the viewers, followed by sympathy for her. As a mother, she loves her daughter dearly but could not behave like other mothers do. As she breathes her last breath, her heart will break into smithereens because she would not be able to see Seri again, see Seri marry and have her own child.
Hopefully Seri would reform, admit her wrongdoing to Miso and seek forgiveness from Seolhui.
Jiseop may become Chairman because I notice that Jakyung praises her husband repeatedly in this drama. He will also change and work hard under the training of a board director or directors.

If Chairman were a warm and loving father and did not repeatedly have extra-marital affairs, Gyeongchae would have turned out differently.
Gyeongchae was close to her mother who died of stress due her husband's affair and later, Sujeong's mother wanting to live with them. I can understand her rage and hatred of her father and Sujeong's mother. Yes, Gyeongchae should not have forcibly sent her to a nursing home to die. It is wrong. We know the reason for her wrongdoing.
Gyeongchae is groomed by her father to take over Mingang Distlribution. Her father was harsh, cruel and used illegal methods to grow Mingang.
Initially, she offered Seolhui compensation but Seolhui rejected it and persisted in getting Gyeongchae to bring Seri out to face punishment. Seolhui kept stomping to Mingang to create scenes at the lobby until her father came to know about the assault.
Her father then pressurised her to crush such people until they could not stand up. He taught her to be cruel like himself and was angry with her when she failed to be as cruel as he is. The rest is history which we all know.
Gyeongchae wanted her father to be proud of her. She covets the Chairman position and knows all too well that she has to please her father first. She gave up David to return to Mingang.
That was how she became a monster like her father. I think she has no idea that her father went to tge extent of hiring killers on others. She could have left Mingang. Since she has already made a huge sacrifice of leaving David, she probably stayed on. Don't get me wrong, that I support her wrongdoings. It is wrong upbringing from Min Doo Sik.
