idk why I thought it was a good idea to rewatch for the first time since it aired, but I did, and now my head hurts from crying too much. I remember I didn't like how SJY decided to spend his limited time being a jerk, but I now empathize with him better than I first watched this (not saying what he did was great). Kim Woo Bin did a great job playing Shin Joon Young and his chemistry with Suzy is good.
I watch this drama at least once a year whenever I'm looking for consolation or comfort, and I need some right now, but I can't bring myself to watch it.
it took me a long time to finally watch this because of the negative reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when I found myself liking it. finished it in one sitting. gave it .5 lower because of the ending tho.
It took me a while to finish this as I had to stop past the halfway mark because I needed a break from the emotional and physical pain Si Feng was dealing with. I felt like if I stopped watching, he too would experience the same respite. One of the most forgiving and selfless characters I've come upon with.
I love everything about this drama though. I love the ups and downs. The journey and growth of every character. The acting was superb from everyone in the cast. I felt for every character, good and bad. The production was excellent. The OST perfectly matched the scenes. I will definitely rewatch this series over and over again.
This drama was seriously good for me until the last episodes. The version I accept in my mind is that Jun was never sick and that he was just studying in the US just like he originally told everyone, and then came back 5 years later. I refuse to accept the part where he got sick and faked his death. I also loved everyone from Eunpo, their stories was what made me watch it until the end.
I'm currently watching this drama, and I laugh uncontrollably whenever Do Jung Woo and the ahjussi who owns the LP store are in the same scene. They were hilarious in Beautiful Gong Shim and I can't help but think of those scenes whenever I see them here.
I finished Love Between Fairy and Devil the other day and I have the same feeling. Will this drama heal my heart?
I still haven't watched LBFAD and I'm not sure if this will heal your heart because it starts when changge lost everything, but I highly recommend this drama!
This is so good!! I had a lot of fun (despite the amount of tears I shed) watching it. I'm worried all the historical dramas I'll watch after this won't compare.
There are a lot of things this drama lacked but it still managed to get me hooked. There are a lot of questionable things but overall, I enjoyed watching it.
I loved it! One of the best historical dramas out there. Production, acting and story were all great. The tragic ending is what made me put this drama off until now. I wish they had a happier ending.
