That too. We started this drama seeing her family as perfect not knowing the worst was yet to come. Not knowing her husband is such a wimp. She and her family was admired by everyone. Now she she has to deal with this whole mess. I was sad for her and it really broke her.

She didn’t even know how to handle it and then that crazy LYY tried to involve her son. I wanted her to beat her up so bad. I must commend how she ignored her and faced her husband at first because that who really has to deal with first.

XHS is the lowest of low. His best excuse for cheating was Gu Jia bruised his faded ego. I can’t believe he let that out of his mouth. And he really thought she will sweep this one under the rug. Smh

Yes Man Ni is on that path to be the kind of woman she wants to be . She has gotten a lot of criticism from netizens saying she’s a gold digger and that she thinks she’s better than everyone. First of all when she started dating her psycho/jerk ex or when she rejected ZZ. I now get why she rejected barista ex. She felt him telling her to work in his coffee shop was like telling her to settle for less/ just take him as a prize and Man Ni would never do that because she knows she wants to work for the good things in life.

I feel there’s nothing wrong with wanting the best for yourself be it the best job, man or handbag in the room. If you are ready to work for it so be it. As a person, no one should tell you that you shouldn’t want things you can’t afford or is not in line with your current status. If you want it. Go get it just be ready to put in work.

When LYY told XHS she gave him her virginity, I cackled. She wants to pull out all the manipulation card. Like she didn’t consent to the consummation of their affair. I think Man Ni should tell her. I also loved that she didn’t just randomly send the text. Gu Jia will have to be seated with her loved ones to see the kind of disgrace her husband is. Even though she sort of knows.


Yes Xiao Qin and Chen Yu are so cute. They still have a long way to go but I loved the trip and how they both opened up. Thank goodness he didn’t mindlessly follow Chen Xu’s plan even though his brother means well. It’s funny how I started this drama slightly irritated by Chen Xu but he seems like he has a lot of insight about life except how to make and spend money. Haha

Yes I agree with you. this TV show is amazing. The plot is so good and they are wrapping it up nicely. It’s funny how I just wanted to see episode 1 and got hooked till now. No dull moment

This Lin You You is so greedy and is definitely a psycho. She wanted to enter Gu Jia’s apartment by all means. At this point it’s not even about the affair for her again. She wants to take everything Gu Jia has worked for. Of cos she can have the man and both of them can ride into the sunset in jail.

Every recent scene of XHS reminds me of the verse ‘there’s no peace for the wicked”. He’s a nerve wreck right now but he deserves all that is coming for him and more. He really thought he could eat his cake and have it. Can’t wait for tomorrow. It’s going to be explosive.

It’s also 7.4 on douban which is surprising because all my favorite shows as an international viewer gets lower ratings.

There is no redeeming quality for XHS. He has to go. That girl is about to do something so reckless and foolish. The nerve she had to ask to visit his home. The next will be to ask his son to hang out and call her mummy. She’s a very greedy person.

Ma Ni broke my heart when she rejected the barista again. The hopeless romantic in me shipped them together. But it’s for the best since it’s not her choice. Hopefully he doesn’t ask her out again because he deserves better. He has always been at the loosing end of their relationship

In my opinion both of them are at fault. Watching the show from the beginning till now made me realize that. In the beginning, we were made to see Chen Yu’s fault from the eyes of Xiao Qin but from the recent episode we were made to see Xiao Qin’s fault from Chen Yu’s angle. All those little things he did for her without rubbing them in her face. It made me realize we are all heros in our own story even when we become a villain in someone else’s story. It’s ok to be human. Their divorce was very childish but it was also a blow out of all the emotions they never expressed from the past years. I hope they both heal and move on. And I’m still rooting for them when they can finally see and accept their faults which they are already doing now.

I mean! He through the engagement ring out the window. He just exposed the kind of person he was. Hopefully the ending is not rushed. Gu Jia has to catch that cheating husband and I want to see him suffer.

I haven’t seen the preview for the next episode yet. Ma Ni needs to wake up ASAP.she has the opportunity to work for someone that values her and I think she should take that opportunity. At least one good thing will come out from her relationship with that psycho. If she gets engaged to ZZ from her hometown I’ll cry. Haha. I’m so glad Xiao Qin rejected that proposal. She’s finally waking up.

Just completed ep 33. He must have lost his damn mind by proposing to her at work. What was that? Baby girl just came out of a whole marriage and you want her to jump into another one. He’s lost it. It’s funny how a lot of young people can relate to that desperate move he just made. When they feel they are loosing that one person they care about they feel making a reckless move will solve it. And Ma Ni better come to her senses soon.

The synopsis is definitely wrong, haha. because I don’t see NINi getting married or Xiao Qin publishing any boos yet. I had hopes for NiNI’s ex and I would not lie that I fell for his tricks. lol but then again he always had this creepy look especially when she mentions HK so I began to doubt him. As for her new admirer ZZ I don’t like him too. He seems like one of those men who wouldn’t want a lady to express herself around him. Always want to have the last say. I still prefer her ex the barista. Gu Jia’s husband will have to go. His decisions lately will cost his family a lot and I don’t want Gu Jia to share that burden with him. So he and his mistress can sort out theirselves when everything explodes and he ends up in jail.

Xiao Qin entering that hotel room with lover boy looked like a lamb entering the slaughter house. You could tell she was so uncomfortable and as someone that never takes hints he was still so forward. He singlehandedly ruined his game and I doubt they’ll be together at the end. Always 10 steps ahead. As for XHS I hope his company burns down. They he can have all day to lay in bed with his mistress
