I thought this was going to be a sweet romance drama when I saw Shin Yeeun posted about it on her Instagram so I wasn't planning on watching it until I found a TikTok and it was quite the opposite of what I expected. I was planning on only watching Netflix K-dramas for this month since I bought Netflix but I think I might need to use Dramacool for this one now. It looks too good. This drama has everything I look for in a K-drama so I have no choice but to watch it now.

I hated her in One Fine Week. But congrats to her for being able to date Rocky from ASTRO. I thought Rocky would date someone around his age but turns out he likes older women(as she is 5 years older).

This drama was so good and addicting, not once did it become boring. Each episode was just important as the other. There were no filler episodes in this drama.

He looks like Xiaojun from NCT. Semin seems a little tanner than Xiaojun but besides that, I think they look similar.

He looks so familar.

She looks like Sakura Miyawaki.

Not you excluding his Japanese ethnicity. He is half Japanese by blood so he still is Japanese. He is American by nationality.

So Yoonjung having a cameo in season 1 was confirmed before the FL for season 1 was confirmed? That's kind of a strange way to cast people but whatever you say so.

Still, Somin seems more like the real Naksu than Yoonjung. Honestly if Jung Somin wasn't the FL for this drama, it wouldn't have got the hype it got. Now that the drama has the hype they are getting rid of the FL as adding a rookie actress as the lead. Even if it was decided from the start that they would change the female leads, Somin is Naksu. They could've made Yoonsung as Mudeok and then Somin as Naksu. They could've filmed season 1 and season 2 around the same time so it could've fit into both their schedules. If Yoonsung was Mudeok, I'm sure AOS wouldn't have all the viewers they currently have. That just shows how Naksu really is Somin's character alone.

I agree. If they really wanted Yoonjung as Naksu, they could've added more scenes of Naksu(as an adult) so us viewers could like(and possibly get attached to) Yoonjung as Naksu. Honestly Somin did such a good job at potraying Naksu that the one clip of Naksu(Yoonjung) we saw fighting Park Jin doesn't even feel like Naksu. Mudeok(Somin) is Naksu. That's all I have to say.

I feel like the whole storyline is changing. I still can't get over the fact that Jung Somin isn't in season 2. Naksu is her role alone. Yoonjung appeared in season 1 for like 5 minutes as Naksu and that makes her the real Naksu? Somin has been playing Naksu for the past 20 episodes, they can't just think we'll accept that fact. Somin did such an excellent job at portraying Naksu that the one clip of Naksu(Yoonjung) we saw fighting Park Jin doesn't even feel like Naksu. Like they shouldn't have made Mudeok so likable if they are just going to get rid of her without reasoning. Anyways, I feel like they are going to turn such a good drama into a bad one by this second season. It might go downhill like The Penthouse. Everyone loved season 1 of Penthouse then season 2 kind of got boring and season 3 was unnecessary.

I heard the cast is coming to Toronto for TIFF. I'm so excited since I live very close to TIFF. I'm not sure if I can go there but if I can, it'll be so nice(if I get to see them).

I loved him in Here's My Plan. It's still one of my favorite short K-dramas.

What do you mean minors won't be allowed in the next episodes? Do you mean they can't film the scenes for some reason? I'm confused.

It's cool how she had a role as a webtoon artist with a webtoon with a similar name to True Beauty.

I loved his acting in Extraordinary Attorney Woo. I hope to see him more in season 2.

I thought he was older?? I thought he was born in 2004. Normally child actors look young but they are older than what I thought but this time it was the opposite.

In the drama(EAW) he is 16 since he is 17 in Korean age. So not much of a different since is 15(14 in international age).

She just exists in the universe. All these dramas are parallel worlds. Yeo Hajin doesn't grow up in True Beauty to become Yeo Hajin. She is just a part of the world. Also I don't where they mention Yeo Hajin here though. I remember the scenes of Yeo Hajin in Sh**ting Stars but I don't recall her being in this drama. The original commenter said it's in episode 11 so Yeo Hajin probably appears on TV or something.

"the hard working first male lead" The second lead in School 2017 was the hard working one not the first so that point is invalid since in most high school dramas there is one character who tries to get good grades.
