It's so weird, because everywhere online says it's because of low ratings. I guess unless gagaoolala release a statement as to why they didn't renew the series, we'll never really know. But I'd guess that if it's not a ratings issue, then it's a business issue. Either with the cast, crew, or the cost of production. Whatever the reason, it sucks. Much like that ending :S

Thanks for replying :) If piracy is the reason, my guess would be that not enough people watched it on the official channel. Maybe it just didn't have enough official viewers for the network to renew. If they just made it available on youtube or a streaming service like Viki, it would reach so many more people.
Also, just finished watching Forever Love. That was so cute!! The ML and FL were just so adorable and it was a refreshingly healthy relationship to watch :)
Sorry for the following rant guys. I just need to vent, and there's no one in my life that would understand my love of BL dramas.
I want to like this series so badly, but it's just so frustrating! I really, really, don't like brother stories. They make me feel so uncomfortable. Also, I am actually genuinely concerned about Fu Yong Jie's mental state. Like, I think he actually needs help. His obsession with his brother is dangerous, as we saw with his reaction to Ye Xing Si's friendship with Teng Mu Ren. To me, right now, this doesn't feel like a BL series. More like a buddy show, which I don't mind, but I don't really like Xiao Li Cheng pretending that he's gay. Even though I don't really like the storyline, I do think that the acting is good. Lin Chia Wei is doing a really good job of totally creeping me out. I am watching the show on Viki to support the creators and the studio, mostly cause I want to see more series like Trapped and MODC.

Yeah...as cute as they were, the relationship between the second leads always made me feel a little uncomfortable. The ending was painful, but I thought the acting was really good.
Huh. That was not what I was hoping for. Did they change the entire writing/production staff? Trapped and Make our Days Counts, are 2 of the best online shows. Period. How is this by the same people. This first episode so was so cliched and tacky. As of right not, Xiao Li Chen is not a character I can ever see myself cheering for. He's so annoying =s All that being said, I will still watch the next episode, and try and keep an open mind. If for no other reason than that I loved Trapped and MODC so much.
I gave it a low rating because I find it so frustrating!! I really like the cast. I think the acting is really good, and they all have great chemistry. But it's the storyline that I find highly irritating. Also, Ke Si Yi's friends are so annoying, especially Li Yun Zhu who insists on blaming Xu Nuo for everything. We all know that Ke Si Yi was wrong from the start, and the fact that it will probably have a happy ending, just annoys me even more. I'm up to ep 22, but have been skipping so many parts of the eps since ep 18 just to try and finish it. The whole storyline just annoys me, which sucks cause I really like the lead actors, their so cute together.
