Low rating.. wae wae wae wae???? Though they have dragged 1 investigation for two episodes but still this is pretty much enjoyable.. most funny act "Ghosts wearing seatbelts 😂"
first foremost the ending was like an antiseptic for the wound given by Twenty five - twenty one ending :) ....
I really loved Dong Han's story, the amount of hard work he has been putting in his career personally even i would have felt like why career over family but looking at the profession he is in.. his dedication for serving citizen was lovable. His wife, the adjustments and support she has done for her husband and family hats-off to her. His daughter, the key role she has played in keeping her parents together is cute.
However, the story line was scattered, for the first 15 episode you are all against your family dont like your father or mother and then when you know they are dying you want to live with them? grr..
But but but.. The one thing which i found amazing was that you can have a supportive colleague which is rarer in some professions, how they have been uplifting each other through hard times was touching. You can be friends with your exes.. little complicated but still how Ki Joon made Director Jin realize about love was applaudable. The way he accepted his mistake after cheating and that guilt for her is really hard to find these days.
P.S. Both the leads should change their genre now, too much ambitious working women roles for Park Min Young and all love dovy pup roles by Song Kang but he is taking baby steps with Navillera :)
Here are my two penny for this drama The level of engrossment all the characters had was too good. a 31 year old playing 18years old character and 28 year old playing 22 year old character is amazing. NJY doesn't let the age difference overshadow his acting, as he acts so maturely that FL(as most of his drama had older ones). How this drama has portrait the 90s era, it made me nostalgic. There were two different kind of support, one which Beaedo had for each other and the other one was YuJi. The later one is realistic one and this former one was little impractical, because no matter how far you are from your love you always do something to figure out things. They loved each other to the core and yet they parted their ways.
**Ending** I was bit disappointed like most of the people because the writer was keeping everyone on the hook. When Baek found her diary it gave a slight hope that yes they both will be back but no, i have never cried watching any Kdrama till date but this made me teary eye on every second episode (piscean trait). Just like any other Kdrama the ending was a total rush and i got that vibe when we all realized how writer is gonna cover the end story in two episodes.
Writer should work on giving a good ending to Kdramas.
Loved that part where everyone had put across sad part about their life. The two most lively ones are suffering the most. So far it was all about Yi Jin's sufferings. All the characters are living upto this quote "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". They are trying best to survive, learn and grow.
In general, Why do i feel as the number of OTT platform are increasing, the quality of script/stories are decreasing. Nothing in specific to this show.
