this description doesn't really give justice to this movie. The movie was very romantic and mysterious - we are brought back and forth in time between her stay in China and in Paris. The whole movie is also around silk worms and clasic chinese musique (very beautiful). It's quite visually pleasing and romantic - even if a bit weird a times.

I Maratoned all the available episodes with subs in fast travk and now I suffer that not all is subbed! Such a torture :/ only why does she almost die or gets accused of murder in almost every episode - ;)

that would be good if this was making him mortal - so that he grows old with her. but to that I have two objections - 1. they need to make the girl older (some time needs to pass) cause right now she is is way too young for him (honestly I am the only one a bit shocked by that?) and 2. if this happens now - then what about the remaining episodes? That is way too soon..

I think that the grim reaper is the reincarnation of the emperor (or the empress?) and Sunny is the other half of the story... this thing with the ring was a big hint (it was the empress ring) + the grim reaper was supposed to be a big sinner - and well the king was kind of bad as well.

for me this drama was such a waisted potential... I loved the character of Wang Mang and the main two - but all the other characters were quite annoying. Also somehow around episode 7-8 the story kind of died... it became so slow I couldn't focus anymore on the episodes... a pity but I am dropping this :/

Awww you forgot to mention "she was pretty" were the boy comes back to Korea to find his childhood years crush... so sweet. And also "missing you" where half of the plot is to find each others after all these years.

I think it refers to Faust because in the original story he is seducing a very innocent girl, Gretchen through despicable and manipulative means.

One thing is for sure - we need to see him more! :)

I am really happy I watched this despite the bad reviews and low ranking. Everything is a matter of taste really. i personally enjoy love triangles and I found this one really enjoyable and real. Yes it was long sometimes - because we uncovered bits of their past story we didn t know about piece by piece... and it all made sense. Also the murder story in the background was really good! i was surprised! i also found it very funny - especially around episode 10 and 11 I laughed a lot. overall I liked it :)
