I don’t know. Never particularly liked Peat and the roles he played. It’s always a “traumatized” victim that needs to be rescued, or a mental freak full of suppressed anger seeking revenge by intrigue like in this case. Yesterday is apparently a kind of empathy porn written for a female audience, a muddy pond filled with irrationality for the cattle to luxuriate in. I wished there were more normal healthy gay characters displayed.

The exchange of coded messages was a wonderful idea. I’m sure the female audience will appreciate it. The lighting, however, made Krailuet look like an animal and that sex scene in the library felt kind of rushed… they should have given them a minute of caressing before that. I would have appreciated it.
