absolutely nothing wrong with eunwoo's smile , he's got the cutest smile ever and playing the naive ,love struck…
And the last comment for you, the only one hating here is you. Nowhere in my post did I 'hate' someone, nor would I ever 'hate' someone for their acting abilities/appearance/etc. It feels like you, fangirls, are just looking for anyone to fight with as in "no, my idol is the best, don't you dare think otherwise!". Absurd.

tired of chronic drama whiners ,go watch something else if ssk's facial expressions and eunwoo's smile ain't doing…
I don't see the logic in this comment of yours. As if keeping my opinion to myself is the right thing to do here. Definitely not. As I watch a drama I have the right to comment about it and so I do it. You say I "whine" while I just state my opinion. I could just simply say something similar back to you - tired of seeing comments that disagrees with your opinion - don't read the comments and just live in your bubble where everything happens in the life according to how you want it. Peace~

nothing about song sahee rocks , the girl barely gets any screen time except when she's berating her dad. i haven't…
Yeah, she's not getting much screen time. What I meant by saying "she should've been the main character" is that the main lead should be able to portray emotions as well as her. And she did laugh many times - the times were all four female historians do something fun together / gossip and such. Also, she's WAY more brave than the lead girl and I just love when that is shown in tv shows. She's strong, independent and with her own opinions, while the lead is acting so weird - at some times she looks strong while at others she's staying super quiet. I don't get the way she acts. Same is when she is with the Prince. One time she's not afraid to look him in the eye and do whatever, another time she keeps her head down. Also her face most of the time is so emotionless that I seriously think "oh, so she gives the same emotion for being sad and being confused and being angry...". And speaking of emotions I really like those supporting female historians - they are so energetic and deliver emotions reaaally well!
All in all I can't say that Se Kyung does a very bad job at acting (as I keep coming back to watch her dramas), but if I catch myself judging ones acting abilities (as here) in a way it ruins the story for me.
On Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung Aug 19, 2019
Idk, but main leads (Eun Woo's) smile looks so forced to me... And Se Kyung could make more facial expressions because she basically has one face all the time except when she's chuckling - I like the way she acts those parts. Ehh. I basically watch this just because of Officer Min Woo and Crown Price - two pretty interesting and different characters. Oh and Song Sa Hee - that girl rocks, there were many times when I thought she should've been the main character instead.

Whoooa. Watched this in one day. From morning till late evening. This was so intense and seriously an insane journey. I cannot believe how well-acted this was, powerful soundtracks and beautiful details in everything. I couldn't take my eyes off each and every room, each and every clothing they were wearing. I truly enjoyed every second of this. Also, even if it was only in the first half of the story, this had some heartwarming comedy - I laughed way more than you think you should in such a tragic drama. I am so thankful to each and every person who worked on this drama - it just blew my mind and I see the world in different colors. I loved it. I'll watch it again definitely. I do hope, like everyone else, that we would get some more of it. At least a special for the ending to be more satisfying and not as heartbreaking.

Yesterday I kept listening to Star on repeat... sigh...
The main songs are beautiful, definitely, however I get most emotional while listening to the various artists epic tracks like 15th track of the album 감춰진 기억 or that insanely beautiful piano piece (9th track) 진강의 테마. I remember whenever that piano melody started to play it was like a dagger to my chest... Such a beautiful, breathtaking composition played at just the right moment.

Same here :"3 the thing with seung ah was dragged so much.. Even if he says he wasn't in love..even if I try to…
It's not like Jin Kang didn't feel bad about that. She was hurt that he did not care about Seung Ah. She was hurt that he didn't give a damn about almost anything that a person in a healthy mental state would. Kim Moo Young did ask her for help to learn how to feel something and she really wanted to help him as well. I know looking from afar it looks like "no way, it's still her best friends boyfriend" or something but it's not how it works in relationships... I know a handful of people who have a relationship that does not make sense, some of them are healthy relationships some of them not really, but people are crazy. And what they do for love and for themselves is also crazy. You can find any kind of reason to be with the person you're so attracted to. And people can forgive so much just to feel happiness for themselves. It is selfishness... but that's what we are... selfish humans.

Oh god how ugly I look after finishing this... Red eyes, runny nose... The past few hours was just me spacing out thinking about life and... what is this life. Well this damaged me. Damaged me good. I wouldn't have watched it if I knew the story, but I am so glad I did. This was beautiful. Words will not explain.
Also this drama has some amazing musical pieces that I am going to keep listening to. And all of the tracks that played during the tv show fit perfectly. Teared me up when needed, made me laugh when needed, got me excited when needed. Just... wow.

I liked it. A lot. Maybe I'm getting old, lolol. But whenever I see a TV show with Jang Na Ra I fall in love with it. She is just too dazzling...

Can't seem to finish it... Why did I even start this.

The first episodes were great, loved the atmosphere and the actors. But come on... 50 episodes?! For this? That's way too long! And to think they skipped so many things from the main story how did this still end up with so many episodes?

They keep fighting and reconciling - doing both in one episode. And then it repeats. And repeats.

Seriously the most interesting parts are Hua Ze Lei being wise and a perfect friend/boyfriend material (as usual) and Xiao Yu + Xi Men relationship development. Also Dao Ming Si big sis is a super nice character. But other than that... Man... i still have 5 episodes to go but it is SOOOOOO boring and tiring that I keep pausing it...

Most of the things that are happening feels illogical. They have so many episodes but for some reason they rush things up. If they break up let them be like that for a few episodes. Show how they're living, how they're feeling. There's no need for them to get back together as soon as they see each other. And those friends.... I don't get them. Like Xi Men says that love is stupid and he doesn't need it but still feels like helping Dao Ming Si. And not like helping, but FORCING to get back into relationship. Why would he? If he is so against relationships and love and he feels like you'd get hurt at the end? I-L-L-O-G-I-C-A-L.
As well as there are so mistakes that it is hard to be left unnoticed - like in one scene they are holding something and in other there's nothing. Or they face one way and then another. Sigh... It's OK if you make a few mistakes, but these are super common.

I didn't mean to rant on this tv show, though, I just came to say how boring it is, but for some reason I eneded up writing everything I feel... :l

The only reason I still feel the need to finish it it's because I wasted 40 hours on it already and I hope for at least a satisfying ending. Damn... A SERIOUS waste of time. Feels like this is soooo overrated.

This just blew my mind. I felt like I was there. With them. All the time. This is the first tv show that made my heart ache, my hands shake and my emotions overflow for how much we all, as human beings, can relate. Every person shown here has flaws. Flaws that hurts others and themselves as well. All of them are lost in the world. Lost with no intention to try and find a way to fix things. They just want to survive. But it shows just how much relationships with others matter... How one person can make the whole world seem different from this very second. To love it and appreciate it. To find peace and acknowledge and appreciate ones existence.
I wish I could give this more than 10... It raised the bar.

It was fun, cute and all but I don't like when some things are half-done. Mostly speaking about the ending. Everyone was rushing somewhere and I got my hopes high as to where they'll go, was sure something great will happen at the end - maybe some surprise party and we'll see everyone together for one last time. But it was just two of them and that one kiss that didn't make me feel anything. And also he went to the army and got back so fast that I couldn't even make myself go "aww" once he showed up back home. I just think the last few episodes got dragged too much and then they rushed the ending.
Also the whole Madame X thing... I REALLY hoped they would meet at the end.
Overall a pretty decent 7 from me.

I used to dislike him a lot for some reason. I think it started with Big, which was one of the worst dramas I've ever watched... But then I watched Goblin and it surprised me. Now once I looked over the dramas I put on-hold and noticed there's Coffee Prince and gave it a shot. I like his acting there a lot... I guess "Big" itself was a pile of po*p so it didn't matter if he was a good actor or not - it just sucked and everything sucked in it. Heh... Anyways. Now I know better. A great actor after all!

For the first time I feel like saying "FINALLY it's over". I was curious as to how they'll end this crappy show, and now I know. Aaah, too much time spent on this... Do not waste yours...
On The Bride of Habaek Aug 16, 2017
I usually go along with the story and fall in love with the protagonists however just like to many others this time the opposite happened. I am so rooting for CEO Shin... His life story is the most intriguing here and his acting captivated me, what I cannot say about the main couple and their boring on-and-off relationship with lots of drama and tears.

OMG when he appeared in episode 2 of Weightlifting Fairy with those W references... Ahhhhhhh, feels!! One of the best actors for sure - simply reaches you every time with different character and story line. Perfect acting and such a pretty smile he has - cannot hold myself back without smiling like an idiot as well. More more more dramas, please (would love to see a chemistry between him and another lead like in I Hear Your Voice). <3

Episode 4 and I don't know if I should keep forcing myself to watch this. I honestly am hoping it won't…
namopanik, though I'm super slow with the answer, thanks to your observation I managed to watch 15 episodes by now. I absolutely agree that Ri Jins character transformed a lot throughout the series, she does not exaggerate things or screams as much and becomes funnier to watch. However, now I am quite stuck again as the plot started to get banal (they seriously went for that "leave her alone because you're hurting her" thing, which seems so overused) and I have to push myself to watch. I even catch myself thinking about the other dramas I could watch instead. I will finish this, though, because I've come a long way already, but sadly for me this drama seems super overrated.
Anyways, thanks for the comment!

Episode 4 and I don't know if I should keep forcing myself to watch this. I honestly am hoping it won't stay as tiresome as this, however, as I am reading the comments below people say it's getting worse to the end. Can't say the main couple are bad at acting, no, but, imo, these roles aren't for them. The storyline itself is pretty tedious and sometimes it's hard to follow why some characters act the way they do, even though the idea of a show about multiple personalities seemed really promising... eh, I guess not my cup of tea.
