Great! Thanks so much for sharing!

The painting arc is so full of emotions, funny elements, sad and touching moments, and one of the best confessions of C-drama history ❤️

I love the background of the painting, it’s so beautifully done.

I wonder why they still cast him. He was just in A Moment but Forever and while it was not a big role he still had way too much screen time.

They were really well made, very independent

Yes ❤️

Thank you for sharing!

Yes I think fantasy/horror theme always gets a bit lower ratings.

Unfortunately the ratings on MDL are always like this. Remember Filter for instance, both the First Frost and the Best Thing had way higher ratings even though Filter was in a different league and did so well in China that it got a seminar and news articles etc. I‘m sure TDHR does better in China than here.

Yes, I think so too. When she bought the conch and they talked about how it could record voices I had a feeling this would become an important item for the romance story. Either it recorded his confession or he later gets to hear her voice when she said into the conch she thought she’d developed feelings for him (I don’t remember the exact words).

Yes, he wasn’t a villain.

Yes he‘s so good in that drama! The story changes a lot, but it is a beautiful love story and LXY‘s performance is superb.

The fighting scene at the end of ep18 was so good! It took RJL spinning to a new level lol

This was such a beautiful confession ❤️ well done!

I thought he looked familiar! But he was also off as a God.

Agree. I really like her character but that scene could have been written better without her crying like a little girl.

Yes it was really well written and very touching 🥹

If XY is a demon wouldn’t that be too unsurprising? Maybe it’s not meant to be a big surprise and the emphasis is then on how they handle it and how the story progresses.

Thank you for always sharing those insights. While watching I felt that XY‘s behaviour was „off“ in several moments and I kept guessing. Also, like you said, it was very unlikely that there was bad acting by RJL and SZE. The storytelling here was really well done! Apart from the storytelling, this arc was also the most impactful (for me) because of the little black cat 🥹
