I know. Well, in some he does. But better no kiss than an emotionless fish kiss. That’s just not who the ML is imo. Honestly I think the steamiest scene that we will get in this drama took already place in Ep14. That was really intimate and 🔥The way he looked at her with those x-rated eyes!

I just really hope it will not be a fish kiss because that would not be in leaning with WZ’s character portrayal so far.

He really deserves this! He is so so good in this drama, really another level! The 100 layers of Wei Zhao, Ren Jialun manages to portray all of them ❤️

As much as I loved the ointment scene in EP14, I really like the fact that they did not make the romance between ML and FL an insta love romance. EP16 does a lot to slowly bring them together emotionally and in terms of their convictions. Due to the events they realise more and more how similar their convictions and goals are. ML is shocked that Ayan was physically forced (RJL did a wonderful job here again with his expressions), as was FL. Both want to better the world and seek justice. Love how fierce Xiao WuXia is ❤️

I thought the same thing, why not kill them? Maybe for his mother.

Episode 16 was intense. Superb writing and perfect acting by all 3 leads.

Personal tastes differ, but imo RJL is the most handsome actor when it comes to costume drama. And his eyes! 😍He sure knows how to use them .

No, he did not only care for his sister, he clearly cares a lot for his people, the elderly couple and so on. He’s definitely not a sociopath.

In the novel yes, and she goes on living with her child and doctor Cui. I really hope they change the ending for the drama, but I‘m pretty sure they won‘t, for the emotional impact.
