Is someone here from Europe and actually sees the drama‘s page on their Youku app? For me it says always „no results“ when I search for it on my Youku app.

I didn’t mean only because of the interactions between the main couple. In KmLm they grew together while fighting for the same goal and overcame many obstacles together (remember for example when he was paralysed from the snake etc) and you could gradually feel/see them developing feelings. And also in the episodes when they were separated later on the emotions transcended the screen. And the interactions between them when they were together were very emotional and convincing, the kisses were beautifully made etc.

I enjoyed the romance in Kill me Love me so much more than in this drama. Here it was lacking and not convincing imo.

Absolutely agreed! It’s rare in C dramas that villains are written in such a satisfying way and that their character traits/stories become their downfall. What a wasted potential though as I found the rest of the story lacking and not well written. Also the romance was unsatisfying imo, and it was not LXY‘s fault. He definitely delivered.

Kill me Love me, In Blossom, and as a supporting character in Ancient Love Poetry and The Blood of Youth (but he has no hair there, if you mind that)

Same here, he’s such a talented actor!
In Blossom was quite a good drama but the FL casting decision was wrong, they should have reversed the actresses.

I‘m quite enjoying this drama despite it’s flaws, mainly because of LXY‘s good performance. MZY is very pretty but I find her acting here lacking in the emotional/angsty scenes. LXY shoots daggers of emotions and she seems a dark hole that just absorbs these emotions with a tiny smile and wide eyes. There is no expression, no conflict in her eyes. Maybe also the character was written like that.

Agree! But I enjoyed seeing Shao Wei Tong in this role, he did a great job.

Agree they make a great match in terms of looks, better than with WJY. But for me the chemistry was better in KmLm, maybe because of how the characters were written.
