Yes, the last 4 episodes are gold, you will see them being more bold and more hilarious to be honest, there is a scene between Wu Bi and his dad that make me lol so hard but I will not spoil it. I really would advice you to finish it.

I support most of your post, with the exception of this being a comedy. I actually think the series has many problems and issues with the pacing, story and acting.
I really hate myself for disliking this show, but the story its boring and I really hate when they include a girl/fiance/girfriend just to "make thing more exciting" and it just the opposite, the story its to short for so many characters, most of them are not develop properly and its just a mess, I am not going to drop it because I hate leaving things unfinished unless it becomes something so terrible I could not watch, hopefully this is not the case.
I am really sad though, I tried to like it because I know the actors do there best but I just cant with it.
I hate the character Mo Yi with all of my might, hate him in the books hate him here, everytime I saw the actor, I literally want to slap him , but that its good because the actor deliver.
Su yu and Wu Bi literally made my favorite bl to appear, addicted was one of my first bl´s after Sotus and it has a special place in my heart because It was my first bl book to read. I am not going to lie this was a masterpiece for me even with all of the censorship, I need to give a huge applause to all cast and production members.
I am going to say I love duo duo relationship with the boys and I am going to say I did not dislike Wu bi father for the first time compare to the books.
Wu bi and Su yu were perfectly cast I cannot say anymore they were stellar. their gazes and interactions were perfect.
Episode 21 and 22 were the best episodes in the whole season, finally this fight about bromance and bl can be put to rest. Both episodes have a lot of clues about the boys relationship, from the lube to the kisses. We also see some hints about the Mao chong not being straight either.
Can someone please provide me the main differences between the book and stay with me, without counting the kisses and sex scenes, I read the book a long time ago, so I dont remember that much detail, I believe the character of duo duo was added if I am not mistaken, but I dont remember if the book explain with detail Gu Hai mom death and Bai luo yin going to Gu Hai uncle to visit.
