Except stories like The Sign that have action, suspense and romance in a mature setting, the mayority of dramas in university settings or slice of life theme I skip scenes of other characters and focus in the scenes of the main leads.

I liked this drama because we have action, suspense, romance and realistic sex scenes. :) I was a bit tired of dramas in school/university setting with teens or young adults. I wanted to watch stories like this. I'm wating to watch Two Worlds and The Prince Series. I wonder if you guys know about dramas similar to this one with the elements I mentioned in the first sentence. Ah, I watched KinnPorsche and Unforgettable NIghts and Big Dragon. I loved the first two, not the last for the lack of the elements I seek in a serie.

Exactly my thoughts. It's very annoying. That is why I enjoyed watching The Kunning Palace Story, the FL talk with a nice voice, mature.

I mentioned that happens more in novels but the main idea is that we see that authors and screenplayers romanticize behaviors that are wrong in a real relationship. For example, this drama. He didn't talk to her what was happening, she endured pain for the stabbing and the feeling of betrayal when she knew that he married other person. At the end she knew everything for other person and not the ML. Isn't this emotional abuse? Why couldnt communicate what was happening? Hey, I love you but we can't be together beause...Why to hurt other in the name of love when there are other options? Part of the plot I guess. The story was created based in a misunderstanding and lack of communication. I hurt you but I love you. I don't agree with this kind of premise BUT still love watching dramas. :) I certainly enjoyed this one, and their interactions.

Exactly my thoughts. But I will watch. In my opinion, a couple should show they like each other no more than episode 12, and start dating in 20.

Hi! That was not a love triangle, the emperor decided the ML had to marry again after two years the FL didn't appear which is a problem part of the plot that was solved later. The only woman that Helian loves is Li. He told her that she was going to be his only woman. The story has a happy ending. :)

Looking forward to watch it. I like dramas between 24-36 episodes, with a good story. I hope this one be good.

I love his interpretation of antagonist in The Legends recently, and wow, he deserves to be the ML in an historical wuxia trama. Great actor!

I should have specified that happens more in novels . I have read Chinese novels where the ML abuse emotionally and mentally the FL, even sexually but still the FL behind the man. At the end they end up together. It seems the authors want to convey that love triumphs in the end which is true but in real life usually woman that are abused end dead, lot of them.

This is common in lot of historical Chinese novels and dramas. They tend to be dramatic and not realistic, they romaticize wrong behaviors than in real life we can't accept.

Since long time ago, just watch old Chinese or Korean dramas. I just hope that young girls don't copy some kind of wrong behaviors in real life.

Some dramas show love in bad way, and we see stuff like this happen in real life. People hold emotions for others that abuse them because of "love'. PLEASE, come on! that is not love. When someone loves us for real, they nurture, value and take care of us. Love is not about abuse verbally, emotionally, physically or sexually others, that is not love. The people that abuse and the ones that bare that situation, they need pychological therapy assap.
