better than other historical dramas? maybe, but this was supposed to be a fantasy and yet they are using same shitty tropes they always use... the one big bad guy who is charismatic gets away with everything, the stupid lackys, the hero who runs around like a headless chicken with no real plan, the small guys who just as bloodthirsty. this is nothing more than a chaebol K-Drama in a fantasy setting... if you want GOOD fantasy story then watch Seirei no Moribito, just amazing!!! but then again Japanese dramas have always been ones that try something new while K-Dramas have always followed the the same shitty tropes over and over again

I was hoping this will be a good fantasy like Sierei No Moribito but nope... it seems like doesn't matter what genre Korea touches they cant get stop themselves doing the same stupid cliches over and over again...

you're right that millionaires outdid the workers in the scope of the evil, but they we're only able to get away with all of those things b/c of workers... saying the workers only did it because they needed to survive isn't a justification... every single thing the millionaires did had 1 or more workers as witness, if one worker or group of workers had stepped up and done something would it have ended up where it did? like the guy who kept saying "I only followed the manual for workplace accidents", that was disgusting, no one can be that brainwashed... like I said almost every one of the poor "innocent" worker was human trash....

wow everyone was a human trash in this series (cept for the main good guys) including Jo Jin Gab's father... all these spineless trash saying how they "just did their job" even if people died... smdh... wonder how fucked up someone has to be to be able to justify their inaction even if it lead to someone's death... the main bad guys did it for millions of dollars, I get that... what I don't get are the "innocent" workers who looked the other way for measly sums on money, they are even worse than the big bad guys

to be fair that might have been because most of the hot sex scenes in season 1 was all in Kusumi's dirty mind but in this one it's all real!!!

hope you watched it... you pretty much have to... Kijima Kuzumi storyline was pretty open ended in season 1 and this season ties it up in a nice bow!!!

no he doesnt... If you watched Pornographer you would know that... Kijima and Kusumi are the OTP of the story... what sensei feels for Kido is what anyone feels for their ex, a sense of nostalgia and friendship...
