So, I have finished watching the first episode. I was more excited with the drama beforehand than after finishing the first episode, perhaps my excitement was too high in terms of the plot-line. I love Kim Yoo Jung’s acting and I’m a fan but her character here seems to be bland and doesn’t really give off the mean vibes that was on the synopsis, her character seems more soft and somewhat hurt. As for Song Kang, I haven’t seen much of his acting beforehand but I’m not that impressed by his portrayal of character here; he doesn’t seem to sell his character well. I also don’t feel the chemistry between the leads yet although they’re visually appealing together. I shall see how the rest of the episodes turn out, hopefully it develops better. Again there’s only so much actors can do when it also comes down to the plot, directing and writing of the story.
If people want to cast a non-traffic actor but is good at acting, I would like to see Ryan Cheng casted he’s got my attention from the recent drama my journey to you.

Me too I’m interested in the antagonist couple’s romance than the FL. i like the secondary characters storyline more. This is my first time seeing this actress, I definitely think she needs more experience before taking on lead roles. She’s not a bad actress but she needs to learn to express her emotions better.
So far i love everything about this show from the male lead, secondary characters, costume and storyline, everything but the female lead sadly. She doesn’t express her emotions very well just the same old blank expression for everything. Nevertheless, i’m gonna continue because of the main lead and secondary characters that are acting superbly.
I really like her acting in Kill it, i can feel her sad emotions. I wish to see her in a historical drama that’s based on revenge/love storyline. I can imagine her wearing traditional clothing it would suit her. Anyhow i have become a fan of her acting :)
I liked this drama because it’s different from most historical cdramas. The culture difference between the leads, the political battles, royal affairs, hate and love i felt it all. I absolutely hated the male lead Li Cheng Yin he was cold hearted but i loved Gu Xiao Wu. I wish the female lead got more justice for her family though and that her character got more stronger like most other female leads i have seen before. Overall, it was a unique storyline and interesting.
