Sure you're lucky. :)
I've a little operation under way. I'm trying to get my friends into K-POP any way possible. :D
Now they like PSY, so it's progress. One of my friends asked me to help her gather some nice upbeat songs for a party. I played her Fantastic Baby by BIGBANG, you know what she said about it? "It was good, something like that would be nice. It's a nice powerful beat" :D Victory! :D
I think there was enough English, so it wasn't too "foreign". :P

Oh, I wish I'd friends like you've. :D And the brother, too. ^^
I see that your bro has good taste. :D GD, B.A.P and MBLAQ. Oh yeah! :D
My friends only listen to Finnish and American hip hop or pop.
And brother... He listens to any kind of music, but not Asian, that's it. :S

So we have the same "problem"... My whole family wonders why I listen to such music. Well, everyone has their own taste in music. Only K-POP artist my friends and brother listen to is PSY. Surprise, surprise... :P

I'm 18 y.o. And you? :)

I agree. ^^
Before I got introduced to K-POP, I didn't like hip hop or rappers. I don't know why, but I liked melodic songs. My favorite genre was heavy metal. When I heard my very first K-POP song, which was Haru Haru by BIGBANG, I fell in love with Korean language and hip hop, especially Korean hip hop. I thought what could be a reason and ended up with a thought that it must be idol groups. How there's vocals and rappers mixed up together, sounded nice to my ear. ^^
Still, I'm not so into American rappers, though I love Korean ones. I can listen to them when mainstream hip hop comes from the radio, but can't say that I love them...
What can I say? Korean music, not only K-POP, is amazing. ^^

Indeed, indeed. *nods* :) In addition, if you'll add a great vocals, then it can be fantastic. Of course, it isn't always necessary, as we've seen and heard. But for example, I like B.A.P and BIGBANG because they've such a great vocals, too. Daehyun and Youngjae, from B.A.P, as well as Daesung and Taeyang, from BIGBANG, support rappers well. :) ^^
For example, vocals are great in Rain Sound (B.A.P) and Haru Haru (BIGBANG, let alone Daesung's solos). ^^

Oh yes, I know him. ^^ He's awesome. I haven't listened to him much, but every song I have, is great. ^^
What do you say about Epik High? Have you ever heard their songs? They're also one of my favorite groups, though they aren't K-POP, but they are so famous that some may think them as K-POP.. But yeah, they're absolutely great. :) ^^

I don't know, rappers just have so much charm and/or swag, that you can't ignore them. :D

Omo! I've to agree with both matters. :D I'm exactly 1,63 m tall. Also, my bias is almost always the rapper(s) from the group. Hmm, it's usually the leader, too: G-Dragon, Zico and Yong Guk. :D Well, Seung Ho from MBLAQ, but he's not the rapper. :D Though, they're my fave ones, also other rappers from the group will catch my eye fast. :3

Haha, yup. I know what you mean about his height. :D Hmm, he's about 20cm taller than me. Well, I'm girl, so no worries, but he's really tall for that age. :D ^^
Yeah, I agree. He's really a fast rapper. :O ^^ He's a good combo with Yong Guk, too. :)

I've two favourites from them: Nillili Mambo and Halo. ^^
Love the MV for Nillili Mambo. :DD The song and MV are both epic. ^-^ And so is Halo. :)

What comes to Zelo, yeah, I did see him in Weekly Idol. :D Such a cutie~ :D But so freaking tall and he's the maknae. :P Well, I don't mind, that's why he's cute. :D And that babybelly. LOL! :D ^^

Yup, they were hilarious. :D
One of my fave episodes was with Block B. I just loved them. :P
Their Random Play Dance was so funny. Zico was everywhere. ^^
And they're always uneasy when it's time for them to dance. :D Expect U-Kwon and B-Bomb, of course. :D
Haha, it's also cute how MC's are always teasing the idol group's leader. Always! :D ^^

Oh, you watch it too? :) Yup, you're right. ^^ It's true joy to watch. MCs are funny and idols don't lose easily to them at making audience laugh. :D

Always trying to find something I haven't seen yet. So, yes I watch them quite often and if I may say, I've seen lots of variety shows... :) ^^
I've watched every Hello Baby seasons, but for some reason seasons with SHINee and MBLAQ were my absolute favorite ones. :3
Also, I like Running Man and Family Outing, which were both hilarious. ^-^ We Got Married is a great variety to watch, too. And if you're ever interested in, you'd check out Strong Heart. :)

I like variety shows because you can see something more about idols, actors, comedians and other Korean celebs. Of course, all of them are partly scripted, more or less, but it's the fact. Still, they're such a joy to watch. :D

Hmm. Okay, thank youu~ :) I'm pretty sure that it's pretty hard to overtake ISWAK, so don't worry about your "biased recommendation". :D ISWAK went pretty deep into my heart, too, so no worries. :DD
Well, I think I should give it a chance soon to take the win, although I doubt it. :D ^^

Do you watch any variety shows? :)

Haven't started it yet, Japanese version I mean. But I've thought about starting, just haven't had the "feeling" yet. :) I think that I'm going to check it out soon, because there's so much positive about it. What I've heard, that is. ^^ And it's almost subbed, a few more and it's done. :) I always try to wait a little bit before starting still airing dramas. I don't want to wait one episode to come out and wait a week for another. :D I think, it's because when or if drama is good, almost addicting, I just dramathon it. I'm a little impatient, perhaps? :D

What's your judgement about it now? Is it worth watching? Do you think it can take the win against ISWAK? :)

Yes, I know what you mean about Playful Kiss. First, I did like it when I watched it, but if I honestly say, PK's nothing compared to It Started With A Kiss, or let alone They Kiss Again. ISWAK1&2 were like I was watching some real-life couple's everyday life. They were so cute and passionate together. :3 Of course, PK was new and more clear, but nothing can win against real feelings. :) Only thing that I liked more in the K-version was Baek Seung Ho's mom. I don't know what it was, but I did like her more. I'm not saying that the T-version's mom was bad or something, but she probably was little too cute for me...

Oh, I see. :) Quite same with me. :) I did enjoy it very much. ^^ It had nice innocent feeling in it. But on the other hand, there was more passion than many other J- or K-drama could give, as you already said. :) I did like that Sakura ended up with Hiroto, too. :) They were so cute together and Miura Haruma's smile is so cute. :D

I agree with kiss issue... I just don't know why it's so hard to kiss somebody, when you're actor/actress. They just stand there and have lips together with eyes open, especially females. Well, different culture.. Haha, Japanese and Koreans should learn by example from T-dramas. ;D

Oh really? :D Nice. ^^
So, do you come often to Finland? :) Btw, can you speak any Finnish? :D
Actually, there's quite many Finns here in MDL. :) First I was pretty surprised when I found someone from Finland. Then, I found out more Finns. :D Seems that we're hiding pretty well, or something? ;D
