The Woman who still wants to marry is loosely based off of Sex & the City however without the sex and more focused on dating at an older age and the power of friendship with single older woman. I don't understand why the cutesy and fake stuff that needs to be portrayed in the dramas of the East. Is it because Asian people are quite shy and innocent when they're young so they need to show it? Or is it because this is what young guys are attracted at an earlier age and girls portray this in order to attract them? Also I wonder why sex is a taboo in certain Asian countries? I really dont know. What are examples of Japanese dramas do you watch?

Most of friends dont understand how important my family is to me. Sometimes I feel quite different since I put my family first before anyone else. As a child from an immigrant family, I always have a sense of duty that I must fulfill when I become older. I always do things for them and treat them. Like you said, they raised you since you were a baby so in my culture, you need to repay them by taking care of them once they are at an age when they need the most help. GAdventures is a Canadian tour company which specializes in small group tours in mostly in the Western part of the world. They used to be a part of Interprid Travels long ago and separated it into a Canadian company. In TIme With You is a taiwanese drama that focuses on the relationship of best friends in their late twenties/early thirties and troubles that comes along with it.

Filial piety...I love your updated look for your profile page. In my Polish/Russian culture, my brother and I grew up as a family to respect your elders, do small things when asked by your elders (pick up a package from the post office), and love each other unconditionally. I always spend with my family more than my friends. Since my family is very vital to me, I make sure I take care of them, help them when needed, and do family's activities together like skiing, travelling, and spending time together at the cottage. My family still loves me and make sure we stick together during the uneasy times.

Thanks for accepting it :) What type of industry do you work in? Do you enjoy watching Japanese dramas as well? Never seen Bridal Mask. Might consider along the way. Japanese classes are offered at my university, however with the lack of space in my schedule, I wont be able to take it unless I pay for the full course.

I have been more into mature dramas lately. I started to feel like I am sick of the high school dramas and the rich man, poor woman type of scenario.

If I have a husband, travelling is a must between us. I wouldn't like it if my husband has many differences between us. It's fine to accept some differences in order to make things fair and accept the differences. If the differences are quite different and the interests are not on the same level, they will be tension between us and I don't think I can live such a person. I've travelled through Gadventures to Cuba once. I did enjoy the trip, however the only thing I did not enjoy was the lack of freedom and sometimes everyone's interests were all over the place. We had a hard time negotiating on the optional activities. Since I like travelling with others, I had to go along with some of the interests at times. I recommend to go on GAdventures again. Most definitely. I might try solo travelling as well. Do you like "In Time with You" and "The Woman who still wants to marry"?

Completely understand. I would do the same as we don't know how long we're going to live. Do what you love to do before your time is up. I normally tour with tour companies however I am considering doing solo traveling or maybe traveling with a friend. On the other hand, it's quite difficult to find someone with similar interests when travelling. I only had an interest in the Asian culture as my best friend is from Taiwan and we spend a lot of time going out to Asian restaurants, anime places, and festivals. I become to love the culture, the people, the languages, and have many friends who are from various Asian countries. Do you watch any dramas other than SK dramas? Do you enjoy the soundtracks? I quite like Secret Garden, Coffee Prince, and Hana Kimi soundtracks that I've downloaded.

Hey! That's so cool that you had an opportunity to have a Japanese teacher show you dramas! Do you speak/write/read Japanese? Was it a language class or a different class that the Japanese teacher taught you? What's your favourite drama so far? :)

I went to Japan back in 2010. My journey was originally Taiwan and my friend, her family and I stayed in Asia for over 3 weeks. I laid over in Japan for a couple of days and had time to explore Toyoko when I got off Narita International Airport. Japan is quite pricey and it's quite beautiful and clean (in my opinion). At least, sushi there is the best :)I might consider a gap year. My parents may not be too happy with that as they want me to get my Masters and a corporate job before heading travelling on my own. But, it's my decision so I'll decide in the long run. Im planning to go to Utah for skiing next year and perhaps either go to Australia and New Zealand or explore the middle of Europe (Greece, Italy). Still deciding. Trips are quite pricey however, the only priciest thing should be the round-trip flight tickets. Well, I'll wait and see and decide as I go.

I should take some advice from you then since I dream of travelling the world even though I've been to Taiwan, Japan, Carribean, Europe, USA. I still have a list of places to go. I am not too excited to transit to mature adulthood as I still technically call myself "young adult". Hopefully, my future career will allow to have many vacation days off. If not, I will keep looking for a job that will require to do this. Doing things in your own pace is always a must as an individual. Pressures of society is not very welcoming when you want to live your life as your own. Any tips for travelling while I'm in my 20's? :)

Hey. It's amazing that you've travelled ovr 30+ countries. You are quite lucky! That's one of my goals is to travel the world before I get married and have kids. I agree with you with people having certain expectations of you as you grow older like your examples of getting married, having kids. I definitely like your view on this.
