Yes all of Sammon's works like Triage, Manner of Death, 4 Minutes, and Make a Wish had couples that had chemistry or enough story elements to make you feel something for the couples. Most of her stories get and 8 or higher from me. Sammon isn't the best at romance but she normally is able to hook you with the story.

With this show the screenplay was done by someone else and I don't think Sammon had much input so that could be a part of it. Without two leads that had loads of chemistry it wasn't going to work. TBH it feels like this script was deliberately stripped of most of the BL elements and wanted to push the agenda of euthanasia being bad thing even if it understandable.
