Such a great drama with great cast. Story, action, cinematography, chemistry between character were awesome. Relationships between father-son, brothers, brother-sister, friends everything was awesome. Even the support roles had great character growth and depth.
Recommended to watch after 'Jumong'! and 'Ja Myung Go' is the story of Hodong (son of Mu Hyul & Yeon), but that drama is not recommended to watch since it's such a poorly written one.
For historical war drama lovers, this is highly recommended (even has lot of politics but not much battle scenes), the story is really great.
It could have been a great drama! they had a great story but excuted so pooly. like in lot of comments and reveiews,…
I'm confused from the start. In the ep1 narration, it says that this is the tragic love story of Nak Rang and Ho Dong. But in her own story Nak Rang is a support role. and the drama name and 1st female lead is Ja Myung. It would have been better they more focus of the love story between Nak Rang and Ho Dong. Or at least Ho Dong realises the one who really love is Nak Rang. Hated Ho Dong's charater from the ep1, since he say he didn't love Nak Rang, even at her grave. But even after that he didn't have any charater development at all. LOL
Only reason still watched this drama coz of the 2 female leads and queen mothers. There acting and performance were great.
It stared good. Tak Goo starting as a very strong intense character. But as the story went they made him a very…
What was Yoo Kyung character's deal? She wanted revenge. But how can she sided with Ma Jun? He was responsible for all the hardships Tak Goo was going through and Ma Jun wanted to take everything away from Tak Goo. And Yoo Kyung was literally help Ma Jun by siding with him and make Tak Goo more miserable.
Even she like/ love or not having any feelings for Tak Goo she shouldn't done something that to her childhood friend. MORALS!!!
It would have been better, after the breakup if they focus more on Tak Goo and Mi Sun and make their romance progressive and make Yoo Kyung being miserable and failing her relationship with Ma Jun, so she would have regret what she did to her friend or ex-lover.
It stared good. Tak Goo starting as a very strong intense character. But as the story went they made him a very weak character. And one more character made me disappointed in this drama. 7/10
Honestly, the moment she married the older brother ,i knew she wouldn't end up with jisoo. It was either she went…
Maybe that's why Secret Love, Autumn Shower finished in a similar way. But Addicted movie able to pull a good ending. Maybe they didn't involve any family and relatives around them? So, couldn't Hwan and Ye Ji and her mom go to US and settle down over there? (wherever no one knows them)Ye Ji said Hwan is her soul mate, is it make sense to give up on like that. Hwan's family is just selfish bastards. They only care about themselves. A mom who had numerous affairs, abandon her family and didn't give a shit about Hwan. A brother who disregard his brother's feeling from younger days till the end, and never thought Hwan as his brother. A father who loves and only worry about Jin, I think abandoning this kind of family is not wrong. Just my opinion.
I still thinks it could have been a better ending.
Like someone had already suggested, should have watch ep 1, 2 and then jump into 16 and finish it. really wouldn't miss much. There were good intense scenes between Ye Ji & Hwan, but it was maximum only in 3/4 eps out of 16.
Although, there were some good dialogues , father's advises were really good life lessons. And Hwan had some good ones in very important turning points and all the right questions for Ye Ji. Although she miserably failed at answering and taking the right decisions. But the dialogues between Jin & Ye ji was the worst. They had the same dialogues for about 6 or 7 times or more. It was like, writer ran out lines to add.
The most disappoint aspect for me was, father, mother, Jin, Ye Ji they all worry each other for death, even all of them did wrong to the family and each other (those 4 were really some selfish characters). Hwan is the one person who took care of the family & Ye Ji in every situation and no one gave a shxx about what he's been going through or how hard it's for him. Hwan was listed as the main lead, but he was just a support character for the other 4 characters. Even if you remove him out of the story, nothing changes, no one would even notice.
Had a potential good plot, but poorly written and executed very badly. 7/10
The heaviest felt betrayal in any drama or movie I ever watched. Calling brother's name, saying missing him, and initiating hugging, enjoying making love... Woh! it would have better , Jin Woo to die in coma I guess. LOL.
Since Yeon's love based on soul mate concept. Her love changed from Woo to Ho, because of Ho lied to her that he was the one who saved him. So, their entire relationship/ love based on a lie, that's why Yeon admit that she made a big mistake. And at the end she say's that she always loved Woo, since he was the one who saved her. And still she watching her wedding video confirm that she loved him.
The person who survived is Woo as well, If it was Ho, he doesn't have to ask Yeon, who she loved. Since he's confident that he made her fallen for him and he would still go back to her plus even Woo said that take care of her. Because Woo isn't confident and thinking that Yeon loves Ho (their last interactions she always thinks of him as Ho), so, he needed to ask it from her.
Rates 6.5/10. Not sure it was worth the watch or not? Plot was good, but executing wasn't good enough and there were some plot holes in between.
How come Kim Min Joon is the main lead and he has less screen time like a support role? In crucial moments in story, either he's been kidnapped, disappeared or questioned by the prosecution LOL .There were no character arc for him, no character development or anything. But there were great chemistry between Eun Hyuk and Chan Joo, rather between her and Jin Se. If anyone interested in Married couple/ romance/ betrayal genre dramas try, Misty (2018) The World of the Married (2020) Secret Love Affair (2014) My Mister (2018) A Wife’s Credentials (2012) On The Way To The Airport (2016) I Have a Lover (2015) way better drams than this drama.
Great Drama! Don't know why the low ratings. Couple's chemistry is off the charts. their interactions are so natural…
Their 1st separation was logical and justifiable, but the 2nd and 3rd is just to drag the story line. Other than that, no complains. There are plenty of sweet/ sexy / romantic/ intense scenes between the couple. Worth the watch.
Great Drama! Don't know why the low ratings. Couple's chemistry is off the charts. their interactions are so natural , intense and intimate. Rare chance to see a couple with this much chemistry. Good Story, cast, BGM and camera works. 9/10
Plot was good but the story writing was pretty bad. It was too draggy at the end had lot of loose ends. It was interesting since it was Double Revenge going on between the couple. But not sure the ending was fair for the characters! 7/ 10
Highly recommended for historical fantasy drama lovers (and we don't have much KDramas in these genres anyway).

like in lot of comments and reveiews, they revealed the full story in the fist episode, that killed the thriller for the drama.
