after completing it, I've enjoyed the show, but only enough to watch once. Im glad they added an actual consensual final kiss to the show. but I was hoping for more TinxMuk scenes since there were a lot more kk and tin scenes. I truly enjoyed the development of the 2nd character, the hong kong version definitely did better than the original in that department. But in terms of the main characters, it was nothing new, and I was severely disappointed since I already knew what was going to happen, the only good thing was they did the time difference correctly (etc. 1 year passes, a couple of months passes) and they did a really great job on showing how much Muk misses tin, which was not seen in the original. I sorta wish they made their own version with their own twists instead of doing word for word what the original did.
That was my frustration watching the Japanese one lol
SAME. I HATED how clingy the Japanese KK was, he had no boundaries and basically forced Japanese tin to marry him. The scene i found most frustrating was when the wife found out and Japanese KK would NOT let go of Japanese Tin, despite him being very uncomfortable. (sorry i forgot the og names)
for those on the fence to watch this. i will tell you , so far, the first 1-11 episodes are word for word the exact as the original. the only difference is, the HK version allows the secondary characters to be more human, with more scenes. After watching ep 12-13 I can say that they did so much better than the original.
I don't get the confusion about show, the original storyline is same if you watch the japanese version....Maybe…
i was expecting some differences as well, but after rewatching the original. I saw that it is the exact dialogue for the first 10ish episodes AND the chemistry is lacking. but LITERALLY episode 12 is where you see the difference. the hong kong version has a more fleshed out version of episode 12 and 13. I actually enjoyed these episodes more than the original. it allows the characters to actually feel the emotions that they should be feeling in their current situation. you could see the regret in siu muks eyes and actions compared to the orginal where it seemed like his emotions just yeeted itself
i really liked episode 13. it really showed how much siu muk regretted his decision, How much tin was in love with muk, how he fell apart without muk and how he ended up staying with the boss. Which the original didn't show. I also liked how it didn't seem like tin was forced into his situation with his boss, also which was different from the original. I'm really interested in how they will show the wedding.

Eps 1-2: Tue and Aek have ZERO chemistry. Acting and directing are lousy at best. Story: What story?? Enemies…
it definitely gets better the farther you go down the stories. I agree, i didn't like the 1st episode. but my favorite and most people's favorite episodes are 9-10. they have awesome chemistry and there are people that break down their storyline more to make you truly understand. So, I recommend to try watching the other story lines. you might enjoy them.
I am reposting the comment that I made in response to someone else's. I LOVE jin and bbombs relationship. like my favorite parts aren't the kissing scenes. its jin laying on bbombs lap, them hugging each other even though they didn't know if they would end up together and my fav scene so far. which was when jin apologized, then felt bad and asked bbomb to give him a hug while jin was laying down. they have such great chemistry. I know not a lot of people find this show enjoyable (and some of their reasons are valid) . But I absolutely enjoy this show. Like i enjoyed 2nd chance the series.
Jin and and Bomb are one of my favorite couples on interactions alone. Because I find it so refreshing to see…
you have said a whole lot of things that I agree with. after watching it for the 3rd time, it finally clicked in my head why the new adopted brother stopped smiling at the end. He wanted a family so bad, that he was willing to fit any need that they had. for the mother, a son. for the dad, a protector, while the dad decided he didn't want to live with them anymore and for the son, a lover. the dude probably wasn't even gay (or he was, doesn't really matter). but he knew if he wanted to fit into that family, to stay in the family, he had to do what he did.
that shook my mind a little bit and i enjoyed the short film even more
It took me about 13 episodes as well to get hooked onto The Untamed, but once I was hooked, I was HOOKED. I did…
I want to say that this is a weird coincidence. but it also took me 13 episodes to get hooked. I even tell my friends that at first gets slow, but after 40 episodes, you wish there was more than 50.
Before i watch this somebody tell me if Jack and Krit get a happy ending cause if they don't i defo won't be watching…
they do not get a happy ending sadly. BUT don't let that stop you from watching the show. I started watching cause of mark and Perth, but stayed cause the plot. story, acting, everything was amazing.
I know not a lot of people find this show enjoyable (and some of their reasons are valid) . But I absolutely enjoy this show. Like i enjoyed 2nd chance the series.
