I am a bit confused on all the children placement. So I know LSY is the 3rd brother (2nd Branch), LYN is the 7th…
I haven't run into First or Second. They are either diseased or not in the Capital. Just like for 10 years Seven Sister was away.

the first masters wife is looking mighty suspect.
Second Master...First Master is the diseased husband of Grandmother.

i've seen the ages of the main leads in the novel and the drama obviously aged them (or especially FL) up. does…
I put them between 18 and 21. She had been gone 10 years and looked 6 to 8 when she left. He is about her age, maybe 1 or 2 years older.

Title The Rise of Ning Spoiler
I agree, and I hope that the scriptwriters found a credible solution for this, as she is now completely in this…
The solution already exist. I am only to EP 8, but I am betting that somehow Seven Sister will learn that Second Master is not her father. Since Third Son nows the truth, he will probably be the one who informs her. After all, he and his staff, are the only ones in the manor who knows the truth.

The one thing that’s been bugging me is the way these Luo kids are numbered. Somehow the fifth daughter is the…
The numbering is the birth ordering regardless of the mother. Third Son was the third boy born and Seventh Miss, the seventh girl. This is usually the case.

Doesn't it bother you that princes and emperors have a harem?
It does bother me. However using the sins of others to justify your own is terribly flawed logic. Imagine taking such attitude to its extreme. It would seal humanity's fate.

The problem with the feminist troupe is not that it is bad, or misused. The problem is that just about every drama, with very few exceptions, has this troupe. I agree with the theme, so give me some credit and assume I've taken the message to heart. Try indoctrinating me on something else. So, IMHO, the hammering of the point earns the drama some demerits. Trust me, I am crazy about Ms. Tan, ever since I watched her in Under the Power (same ol' troupe in that one too), so it isn't the cast, the cinematography or anything else. It is just that the subtext is getting old fast.

She looks stunning in period costume. Her beauty and innate elegance can hardly be surpassed.

He is trying to say thst you are judging a billionaire's lifestyle by using your non-billionaire standards. You are determining whether a peach is ripeby examining an orange.

Under the Power was a great drama and tan songyun aced it the FL role. The similarities between that series and Honey, Don't Run Away are few and should not be used as a basis for comparison. HDRA is more comedic and much less bloodthirsty than UTP. Each actress played their respective roles well. Let's not that xiang hanzhi was 18 at the time of filming so you got the real deal as far a character behavior. Also, you watched the whole thing, because like the rest of us, you wanted to see how it ended. That is not the usual reason for watching. You failed to mention that tropes were not used in large quantities. In fact they are easy to count. To me that's refreshing. I respect your opinion, but please remember that it is only an opinion.
Nam Gonzales Jan 18, 2024
Tou said "[n]ew FL brought life back the OTP", which is absurd. You and a multitude of others watch season 1. So if there were any problem, it was not xiang hanzhi. She fit the role (especially since she was 18 at the time ilof the filming). She would not have fit the role of FL in Under the Power, just as tan songyun would not have fit the FL role for this drama. I accept the fact that this is your opinion, but I do find it annoying that you make it sound like you are giving an objective appraisal. Xiang hanzhi has shown in just a few years he ability to captivate an audience, let me suggest that you watch Love in Time.
