Uhm..I watched it some months ago and as I can remember: Minsu cannot hear it shows Minsu's attitude on his brother being abused (he hasn't done anything which can be meaning he 'cannot hear'); Minsu cannot speak means he also can't say anything about he and his brother being abused and everything that is happening in school. That's how Minsu is indicated: a 'deaf' and 'mute' boy. That's what I unterstood watching this movie..if I'm wrong, please forgive me.
