I feel K-dramas become quantity over quality. While lot of shows got similar plots, it mostly down to the cast is why I watch many K-dramas. I like Business Proposal for the whole cast was brilliant to watch, but King The Land, I more interested in the support cast and how their story finished. There also some shows that look that been rushed to put on TV, leaving plot- holes in the story, like Miss Night & Day but I stuck with because of the cast. In the end I don't see me getting burn out of K-dramas soon.
While the Drama has flaws, it was the whole cast that made it watchable. Lee Jun Eun look like she had a ball acting as younger woman in some of the episodes. I love Jung Eun Ji acting as person trying over come her self doubt. As for SML and SFL, should really be Yoon Byung Hee and Kim Ah Young, even if their love arc was a bit strange. On a whole I think the writers of the show had a great idea, I think they should try again in couple years time with new cast & story and the ML doing the changing.
While the drama got a few stories problem, I been glad that Jung Eun Ji 's role in Miss Night and Day is different from her past ones. I feel she starting to get stereotype.
For Ranking for me, it R88, R97 then R94. Reply88 with the storylines, nostalgia since it the era before like of computers and mobile phones came into normal people homes. As who Deok Sun end up with. just feel like a side story which did not bother me. Reply1997, it look like Jung Eun Ji and Song Dong ll had a ball with the whole father and daughter banter. From my point of view, Jung Eun Ji edged it for best of all the daughters from the three Reply. Reply94, while I enjoyed for the cast and some of storylines, they did drag it out with too many episode.
As for the show, I could see them playing a guessing game on male stars showing up on episode or two
