Well, guess I'm not watching it now. Thanks for such a detailed review - I may not have watched it but you covered it so well, I also agree that the switch is emotionally tragic and homophobic (to make it worse, I love BLs, so double ouch). That ending would ruin it for me as well. I'm sorry they did that to something you invested so much time & emotions & expectations into.

The camerawork was terrible, the sound was worse, and the editor is clearly a sadist"
Bruhhhh. So melodramatic. I know ZSY is hot-headed, but he'd be way more likely to confront GSD immediately - in-person or by text -, rather than ghost him for so long. Out-of-chatacter. Beautifully shot but bc of odd melodrama, only 7 ⭐ at most.

My Top (10 star) BLs: "Dark Blue Kiss" (*sequel* to "PeteKao: Kiss Me Again," which is almost as good. Both can be found officially on YouTube) PeteKao are probably my fav BL ship. DBK also has the best intro, like, ever. "Life Senjou no Bokura" (aka "Life~Love on the Line" on Viki) "Color Rush" "We Best Love: No.1 for You" (sequel coming March) "Where Your Eyes Linger" "To My Star" I also consider "TharnType: Our Final Love" special episode a 10, though the parent series was only like an 8.5 to me (consent issues; partner violence). Now that I've typed these out, seems there are actually 7 if I count the special episode.
Almosts: (9.5 star) "Why R U?" I'd give it 9.8 if I could. There was one brief moment that cost it a perfect rating. "Gen Y" MarkKit and friend group are superb. "Still 2gether" (sequel to 2gether) "PeteKao: Kiss Me Again" 9.0 star: "Cherry Magic," (30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii), "2gether," "Ingedients," "Oxygen," "Like in the Movies," "2moons2," "Mr. Heart"

Yesss. That was the MarkKit story they deserved. KimCop banter gives me life. Though I don't know what production pulled with the last 2 eps: We got like <6mins MarkKit (and they were still the best scenes).
Where Your Eyes Linger and To My Star are wonderful. Art, really. There are only 5 BLs I've given 10 star ratings to - hers are 2 of those elite. Standing ovation.
