I love Lee Won Geun and haven't watched Thumping Spike yet but imagine if the leads were Song Jae Rim and Kim…
Haha I know right? I just saw this and realised Jae Rim was in the first one. Now So Eun will be doing the sequel.... though it's not that much of a surprise. So Eun and Jae Rim are close friends in real life after their stint in We Got Married. It's great that they still remain in contact after the show ended, unlike most WGM couples. They're in a drama together as a couple in Our Gab Soon :)

second episode: she's preg.....VAT when did that happen?!!!....what's gonna happen...
I think it happened when they got back together after the kiss scene, we saw a scene at the motel with the lights turning off. So we're left to assume they "did it".

ep1's kiss was the most awkward thing i've seen in a very long time...
True it looks forced...So Eun did looked uncomfortable. That kiss reminded me of the wardrobe kiss with Lee MinHo and Park Shin Hye in "Heirs"...

Probably many of you doesn't know since its not on the synposis but getting pregrant is plot for this drama :)…
Completely agree with you :) although I came in as a Solim fan, I kind of had slightly high expectations to be honest, but their issues/"mess" is a little off-putting. This is my second 50-episodes drama. The first I watched completely was "What Happens To My Family" and that drama was really good straight off from episode 1! This one I hope it gets better. I'm willing to give this a chance for Solim couple and for the fact that So Eun mentioned at the press-con interview that she's confident her and Jae Rim can win best couple award :)

Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Oh yep the serious ones that touches a lot of darker themes. I tend to not like too much violence/drugs/sex etc but if the story is good I'll be hooked. Come to think of it, I've actually watched quite a few of darker themed Asian dramas/movies too. I do appreciate them :) my brother and I close. We have a close relationship and mutual trust that built over the years of growing up together. We weren't close when we younger and we always fight like siblings normally do...but as we got older we learn to appreciate our differences - he's like my best friend. The only person I'm most closest to, so I guess I'm lucky :D

Haha yes, I agree! And Bogummy (actor playing the prince) is awesome at microexpressions don't you agree? Kim Yoo Jung is just so pretty! Both are such good actors. With W, for me it does feel a little slowed down lately but I do feel the chemistry between the leads most of the time. With recent episodes, I don't so much feel it in Kang Chul's character - but maybe because he lost his memory and I doubt he feels strongly for YeonJoo like before.

Completed! Such a cute drama and that last scene <3 definitely worth the watch! I guess the general advice for those thinking of almost dropping at the beginning like I did, get through the first 4 episodes, then the story really picks up. I had my gripes with the lead girl initially but she's actually quite an endearing/lovable character that you cannot help but root for in the end. Oh and my favourite character is Dean!!! Seriously where can I get a friend like him??

No worries, yea it's used so often that it felt normal for me to call friends here chingu or a fellow drama fan chingu as a way to be friendly :)

Haha true, Asian dramas are definitely a good substitute and completely worth my time :D oh same here! My brother doesn't always like my recommendations but he does at least give them a try and watches the whole thing. He even watched Healer completely because he saw me so hooked into it when it aired!! I also do the same with his recommendations too. He's completely into Mr. Robot (and yep the lead is played by Rami Malek), however Mr Robot is so not my type of drama. While it is good, it's something that I don't usually like watching. I tend to like more positive dramas so Mr. Robot at times can be rather depressing. Same goes for Breaking Bad (another fav of his) but it's not my type of drama lol. We have different tastes, but I do appreciate the dramas he picks though - they have compelling plots :)

Moonlight is my current crack drama along with W-Two Worlds ❤ I hope you enjoy the second episode too!! ^^

Wow our comments went to second page already! Ah, "chingu" is the korean word for 'friend'. Adding the "-ah" at the end as in "chingu-ah" is when you know that person on a more personal or friendlier term :) sorry, I didn't realised you may not know what it means :))

I must confess that I used to be a manga/anime fan... although not anymore. I haven't been watching or reading any mangas/anime these days - I just don't have time for it (probably because I spent all those times for dramas lol). As for my younger brother, he's the opposite of me. He's more of an anime and American drama watcher. He only came across Cruel City and City Hunter one day. We actually have vastly different tastes for dramas - he likes the more serious american dramas (for example Mr. Robot, House Of Cards, etc) and thinks kdramas can be too cliché sometimes :)

Oh I LOVE Hana Kimi!!! It's my first Asian drama to be exact. I loved it so much that I watched in twice in one go! Then followed Hana Yori Dango (those two were my first Asian dramas) xD

I can't wait to see our LTE couple in this drama! I miss them on WGM!!! If they end up kissing and doing lots…
Just finished watching first episode! Oh my gosh they KISSED!!! I swear I didn't expect to see a kiss scene so early in the drama, but it made sense I guess... they're like a married couple. As much as my fangirl heart is happy that Solim kissed....I hated Gab Dol's family. They mistreat her so much it's frustrating!!! Gab Soon is really a treasure taking care of Gab Dol before herself. She sacrificed so much for him. These two as couple had so many issues! Hope she's not pregnant.

Hahaha sorry chingu! I got carried away with recommending my favourite dramas xD I just checked out your list, you too also watched about 100 dramas/movies. Although you're more of a movie expert than I am. I watch more dramas than movies lol

I didn't realised you watch anime too! Manga/animes were my first foray into Asian dramas. I started watching live adaptions of the mangas I've read like Hana Kimi and Hana Yori Dango. J-dramas were my first Asian dramas...until my younger brother recommended City Hunter to me one day, then boom I've been mostly k-drama watcher since then :)

P.s. once you're hooked into dramas, there's no way out *muahahaha* :P

Aw I feel sorry for Hye Ji, she's actually not a bad girl. She has a kind heart and hardworking but she just keeps…
I agree - I think she shouldn't be so hanged up on Hyun Min. She deserves to move on with someone better and I wish she would see that she does indeed have someone beside her all along (Ji Woon). She better wake up and realise that Ji Woon have been there for her all this time before she loses him. :)

If you end up liking my humble recommendations then it looks like we have similar tastes in dramas :D

Yeah 3 years for me (before that I mostly only watch American and Australian dramas on my TV)... how about you - when did you start watching dramas? Haha, I still feel like a newbie because there's still many classic dramas that have been on my PTW list for ages and I never got round to watching them yet. Everytime I read a recap on dramabeans and see people referencing to older classics I feel like such newbie for not understanding the references :P

And yes, Healer - I love that drama and still do. It has a lot of romance (so be warned)... it's also an action drama too (kind of like City Hunter but with added relationship focus of the leads). Heck my profile picture is of Healer and my username "Bongsookie" is a character from Healer. I actually discovered and joined MDL after Healer finished airing xD

@vampirella, yep IRY is totally an awesome drama (it's in my top 5 fav) and yes it also has romance too (but very subtle and it's one of those naturally progressing romances). Romance is not the focus of the drama though but the story is really what hooked me in. Haha same here, wish there's more time in the day to watch dramas lol

Hmm technically I didn't get into Asian dramas until end of 2013/beginning of 2014 Christmas/new year break. So I've been watching for around 3 years? Then I discovered this wonderful site during Healer-days and decided to join in Feb 2015. Although I still feel like I'm newbie to watching dramas haha (P.s. you seem to love romance so I'll recommend Healer and Queen In -Hyun's Man...both of them have a bunch of romance scenes :)

As for other versions of Hana Yori Dango, I've only watched the korean remake "Boys Over Flowers" and didn't particularly like it much. I heard the Taiwanese version isn't that good either so I didn't bother watching. With the Korean version, I thought they ruined Makino's character lol

AOY sounds like my type of drama! Will definitely watch soon when I have time!

@catstreet chingu! I miss you too!! <3 minanhae-yo chingu-ah, I've been absent on feeds for a long time! Been coping through a lot this year that I've gotten depressed and sort of withdrawn from everything! Right now I'm just commenting about randomly on drama pages and overloading on dramas to keep my mind off things. Will return to feeds again sometime in the near future and make it up to you guys again :) xx

You're welcome chingu! Omo, you haven't seen a drama with Park Bo Gum yet?! I'm a big fan of his after seeing him in "I Remember You" and then later "Reply 1988". That boy is so talented, but so far his role in Moonlight is showing a new side to him. If you haven't seen I Remember You - definitely watch for him! XD his real life personality is such a cutie pie (I've seen him interviews and variety shows: Youth Over Flowers-Africa, 1 Night 2 Days, and Running Man) <3 in Coin Locker Girl, I seriously cried when his character died :(

Haha I have to admit, if Hana Yori Dango wasn't my very first drama and if I've seen it now after having seen over 100+ dramas I would not have liked it as much because it is rather cliché. But as one of my very earliest dramas, I kinda have a fond memories of it :)

Also Age of Youth is on my plan-to-watch list! I heard that it's good right?

Oh definitely watch Moonlight! I highly recommend that :D both Moonlight and Bring It On Ghost has a cute romance. Moonlight just started so only 2 episodes are out so far but it's so funny and cute, plus Park Bo Gum is a bonus (depending on who you are bias for this drama could go either first or second lead syndrome...for me I'm totally on first lead-ship). With Bring It On Ghost, there's no second lead syndrome here, so don't worry :)

As for Chaebol dramas are you looking for the classics? If so, I'd recommend Hana Yori Dango (japanese boys over flowers) - it's one of my first Asian dramas, The Masters Sun is another one (it's also a ghost drama too), Beautiful Gongshim (recent one). Those are the ones I find enjoyable :) I also heard Secret Garden is a classic, but I have not seem that one yet.
