Title Mirror of the Witch Spoiler
I hate the ending. I assume that Yeon Hee died after drinking the potion, but it was never explicitly stated that…
My interpretation was that Heo Jun met her in the afterlife. Remember he'sa doctor and he would've known that he didn't have that much time left. When he sat down is when he knew it's his time. There were a few clues to this (1) the king says he wants to read HJ's book in his lifetime, (2) HJ also says he'll finish the book before he dies, (3) the dream-like scene with YH at the end, (4) real life HJ never loved his wife, (5) I'm the press interview when drama first started YSY mentioned that this drama is a fantasy fiction of HJ's untold story

When I first started this, I did not expect myself to become so invested in it and for it to be so amazing. I…
I agree about the Romance! From episode 1 to 20 there is no kiss scene at all just innocent hugs, hand held, and the emotions from their eyes....yet the romance and longing felt very real. So much better than heavy skinships and kissing in my opinion. Plus age appropriate for the actors too (esp KSR - she did such a brilliant job). Not a lot of drama have this kind of sweet innocent/pure yet mature love.

For me, I thought the ending was crappy too. After all the trouble of trying to break the curse, she ends her…
High five chingu! I also arrived at the same conclusion of the ending scene too before reading your comment. I also agree that it's a very good well written drama too in my opinion. :)

Waahhh I need at least one more episode to suffice the last scene :'( But I love it, seeing them together again…
It's worth the watch :) I don't think the last scene needs one more episode because that scene already suggests that Heo Jun passed away after 40 years and finally met YH in the after life. Did you know the real life Heo Jun never loved his wife? I feel like this drama is telling us the secret hidden true story behind Heo Jun. The story of his real true love (as cheesy as that sounds haha). Ending is bittersweet indeed :)

This was overall a beautiful drama. Cinematography, music, acting, scenery...just about everything is beautifully told. I watched the finale and I don't think it's as bad - actuallyquite the opposite (see my spoiler version below for my reasoning). It's bittersweet yet beautiful so I would recommend this drama to those who love saeguks and fantasy. The Romance is beautifully done too (there isn't much of it and is age appropriate considering the age gaps between the leads - they sell the chemistry well). 9.5/10 solid well written drama - only reason I knocked off a 0.5 is because at one point I got frustrated with the turn of things but it doesn't put me off the plot. If you're unsure about this drama, just give it a try and don't let negative comments turn you away. I watched until the end very much enjoyed it :D

Such a beautiful yet bitter sweet story. I like that they kept it real to history...can't say I'm happy with the ending but I think it is beautifully told. The real Heo Jun never loved his wife so I feel like this is like the hidden story secret story behind Heo Jun. He never loved his wife because his true love was YH. I feel like ending is when he passed away and entered the afterlife. That scene when he sat down (from tiredness) and the dreamy-like scene where he finds YH again feels suggests that he finally passed away. That's my take on the ending.

Just finished watching Ep 20....I'm honestly heartbroken over Tae Ha. His character story arc was the main reason I cared enough to continue watching til the end. :'((( this drama is kinda dark but it has a good story.

How old is she suppose to be in the present day? And does anyone know that ending song that keeps playing?
I got this from dramabeans...but Hye Jung is 31 in the present day and Ji Hong is 40. They have a 9 year age gap. Although interestingly in real life PSH and KRW also have a 9 year age gap lol

Over all this drama is very heartwarming and positive. I ended up loving this much more than I thought. Especially when you're going through bad times in real life, this drama makes you smile in the end :) worth my time watching!

Whoa - drummer mom spend 1.2 billion on tutoring. I looked it up that is over 1mil usd. Is that a realistic figure??…
Apparently it doesn't work for anyone in the US...I like the site though since I can't watch Viki or dramafever at all because I'm from Australia.

What I love about this drama is that it's very heartwarming and tugs at your heartstrings. I love the focus on friendship, loyalty and family here. It's my favourite kind of genre! Plus not to mention the bromance too <3

I usually don't trust dramafever subs for that reason haha. I watched mine on Myasiantv and read dramabeans recap on dramas :)

Not sure which site you're watching this on but the subs I had says she spent 1.2million...so roughly about $1200 USD.

Finished it. and I think is needs a second season to be honest or even better, a movie for closure. The main focus…
I was reading articles that the PD is considering a second season that's why they ended it that way. Enough to leave it as an open interpretation and to pave way for a second season. There is a (very) high possibility that a second season will happen given how much money they made with this season. It's a very attractive choice not only for TvN but also for actors of this drama as well. Well I'm torn about this...because on one hand, I want a second season or a movie, but on the other hand, I think Signal is perfect as it is without needing a second season :)

One plot hole I found was, Park Hae Young is still a cop. And if you remember a couple of episodes ago, the only…
Actually like nastou19 chingu said, I'm pretty sure they left it for audiences to fill in the gaps. It is definitely implied that HaeYoung decided to become a cop because of JaeHan's dedication in proving his hyung's innocence :) it's written all over little HaeYoung's face when he ran out after JaeHan to thank him :))
