Perhaps it's not your cup of tea? I watched to the latest episode and seriously im loving the drama 100% (got hooked from episode 2 onwards). However, I do feel like episode 4 really does pick up the pace...that cliffhanger at the end of EP 4 does leave you hanging. I just had a quick look at your profile and judging from your lists, you seem to go more for romance/rom-com type dramas. So if your preference is romance, then from that perspective, the romance is rather slow and natural. Romance isn't central to the plot, but the mystery and story of the main characters are more important. I personally find the plot going at a good pace...right now it's moving along quite fast with revelations and surprises. Things get reveal one-by-one without shocking us too much, and each of the cases relates to the story somehow. I'm 100% sure the romance with come in later but just don't expect it anytime soon. The chemistry on the other hand is definitely there. OH and bromance is more stronger in this drama...I love adult Hyun and Min - you'll find out who Min is soon and trust me you'll love him xD ❤

Anyway, I hope you do give this drama a chance and if you still don't find it interesting then I would recommend Oh My Ghostess (based on your drama list preferences). Oh My Ghostess is the other drama that's equally fun :)

Like you, I too am a huge fan of the original version (its my first and only Taiwanese drama I've ever watched), however watching this remake gets disappointing episode by episode. For now, I've put it on hold (I've seen 8 episodes so far) and depending on how it plays out...I may end up dropping it. It's a pity because I love HJW and LJW :(

I actually like that scene, I felt the kiss seem true to his character. A kiss on the forehead means respect. We've been shown how Hyun has started to really appreciate JiAn in his life now and he respects her. Just like he mentioned before, his head is in 'chaos' at the moment, so I doubt he has room to think of his feelings yet. We can tell he subconsciously likes her through his actions (like how he keeps hitting on her and making all the first skinship...like that hand-holding scene in EP 9), but I doubt his mind is emotionally ready yet. I'm sure he'll kiss her soon when he's emotionally ready or comes to a realisation how much she means to him later on. And the good thing is, he's already getting there :)

A lot of people are saying how Min reminds them Dexter (American drama) whereby he only murders bad people. I still hope Min didn't kill anyone too...that would be a great plot twist. He's such a tragic character....moreover both Hyun and Min's story is heartbreakingly tragic. Poor guys...ㅠㅠ

I was reading k-netizens comments and it seems like they all believe the murderer will choose Min instead JiAn too. Oh gosh...poor Min. The guy is too cute and I hope he redeems himself (if he did turned out to be a Monster). I doubt it will be JiAn too since she just got out of hospital and it's too soon for her to be in danger (again).

Making the hero choose between two people reminds me of Batman lol

Ooof those two brothers are so heartbreaking.... Dammit I cried so much during their emotional scene in episode 12 :'( am I the only one crying?? Lol

Well I think it's because Hyun is more preoccupied with finding his brother at the moment. His focus is not on love (yet) but we can see it starting to slowly affect him the longer he's around JiAn. He's rude and cold (by that I'm referring to him liking more murders so that there'll more cases to solve his puzzle), but we're starting to see him melt a little at a time and opening up more thanks to JiAn. Right now I agree, I don't see them as a couple yet but I do feel like they're meant for each other. JiAn understands him well and was the first person to approach and tell him that he's not a Monster. I think that really gets to him personally. He's starting to care/open up to her more nowadays since then. Let's wait and see how the story progresses :D

Compelling story and great natural chemistry between the leads. I can't remember rooting for each character as much as I did since Healer ended. I really feel for Min and hope for happy ending for the two brothers. I also absolutely loving the romance as well. Everything is keeping me hooked, let's hope it stays the same all the way til the end! :)

I'm one of those people who don't find Seo In Guk handsome and never understood the fuss about him....well that all changed after watching him in Hello Monster. He's become so hot now all of a sudden. ❤❤❤

I had this same problem with Ji Chang Wook too. Never saw him as attractive until Healer came along. It's like an eye opener for me. Never judge a book by its cover. You never know when they'll end up surprising you. I feel like SIG really chose the right drama this time, just like JCW :)

Really? First place in ratings? Yessss! This drama really deserves the top spot! For once I agree with k-netizens :) it's usually my favourite dramas always get low ratings...for example Hello Monster/I Remember You.

This girl is so sweet and I'm really sad about what happened to her. I hope she stays strong and makes a comeback again in the future. Stay strong unnie! Fighting!! :)
