I've been waiting for this drama for ages because of Zheng Ye Cheng. I love him since watching him in Love o2o. When ppl rooting on ML anf FL, I root him and KO.
Then I watch him in An Oriental Odyssey ..found out he will play in this drama
Unfortunately, I heard lots of his scenes got cut so the can put the second Ml and Fl into the screen because It's their production who paid for this. I wonder why not just put them as the leads instead putting ZYC ? I feel sorry for ZYC, I hope he will fins a producer and agents who really nice to him and help him.


Well..most of the actors/actresses did a great job here, specially the ML and FL, even the Evil CP is good too..but i wonder why his younger bro is older than him... although Armeng/2nd prince of TianYuan act good too..but it's just he looks much older to be the younger bro... just like some supporter actors/actresses are not really fit to portray the character..
PS. I have to added here: I love the make up in this drama. Kudos for the make up team. It's very natural. FJY doesn't look wearing white powder like others historical Cdrama.

Omg..it's not even close to what it's call the s*x scene like in Hollywood movies. They are still wearing clothes.

If i made the script, I will make Ran Yan found out about Su Fu's sacrifice and he was poisoned by that purple root something that made him like a puppet. Then She will try to find the antidote, just like Legend of YunXi, but i won't make her through the death gate and then suddenly live again in the end. I will make that she find the antidote , maybe using the pearl or something. Then SuFu and Ran Yan got married at last .

Agreed! I can't understand how she changed her heart so easy in just few hours. She was once said he trusted him ( Su Fu) , the she should trust him and understadn there must be something why Su Fu did that... She should try to find out why Su Fu didn't come when she was thrown into the water ( because Su fu was ill and unconscious ) and why Su Fu just said that he used her for the pearl..( to let her go so she would be safe).
I don't like how she switched to XS so easy...I don't really like Xiao Song.
Su Fu has done alot sacrifice for her. yet she still can't figure it out...

I always ship Ran Yan with Su Fu and I like Su Fu more than Xiao Song. I can't understand with Ran Yang who was once said that Su Fu is the only person in her heart and in few hours he left him just because someone told her that he used her to get the pearl. She just believe them like that..but she can't believe when Su Fu tried to make her understand. Su Fu is the one who keep suffer... I like SU Fu so much...and Ran yan is too stupid to figure it out why Su Fu didn't come when she was in need and causing Xiao Song married her and why Su Fu like saying yes he used her actually to make her leave safely. ..

She is good in examine the body..but too stupid to understand why Su Fu did that..

BTW, I think there will be Season 2, because in the end it's said: UNTIL NEXT TIME :D

I have finished it now. It's not sad ending :D and It's really good. Just some tragedy in the middle of story.

Done except the last one..because I can't find the 1st season. I found 2nd season with English sub in Dramacool. there is anothet Your Highness but different story.

I think Mark Ke is more fit when he plays in historical/wuxia/costume drama like as Qian Mo in The Journey of The Flower.

The drama looks something for me...but when I read who the one who play the female lead..after 1 - 2 episodes, I dropped it. I wish it was Fair Xing ( Forget You Remember Love) instead ...idk i am kinda annoying with the character of female leads..or mostly if she was the one who play Sang Sang in ever night. It's like too childish and annoying. I don't hate her..i just find like she is not really fit to play adult love drama..maybe if it's High School drama, then she will be fit in it. It's kinda funny, although fair Xing is younger than Ireine Song, She looks more mature than Ireine.

In Season 1 there are 2 ending, so just watch the one that they ended together. In Season 2, it's just suddenly he woke up again but lost his memory. That's a bittersweet and i don't like like suddenly he just woke up like that. Except if the director made a story like she tried to find something to bring him back..that's different. Just like Wei WuXian back in MoXuanYu body...And then it's not just ended like that.

Ah no..the kiss just like a "touch" ..not like a kiss at all. In Love and Destiny, the age different is bigger..but the chemistry and the female lead character is better . In Love and Destiny, the guy is much older than the female lead. Don't mix with Eternal Love between Yue Hua and Bai Qian. In Love and Destiny there is kiss and there is a hint they "did" than too if you really watch it. That's why she got pregnant

Simon and Jason Xu have more chemistry in Advanced Bravely dan with her. I dropped it..I can't stand her behavior. I understand the director tried to make a carefree female lead..but at least he should make her has a bit of manner and somekind of self respect. I can't stand that kind of behavior. I can't stand to see childish Sang Sang..both in Ever Night and here..

Agreed with you. If they want to make a happy ending, they should not let him die.
For me Season 1 is better...but I hope there will be Season 3.
