I like this movie better than the drama. It's more exciting and understandable. Wu Xie is smarter here and there is story about little master/bro. I know, it's not yang yang, but i still like it.
I 've watched the movie version spin off: Time Raiders. There is a bit of Zhang QinLing past. But something i wonder is about Wu Xie 's time zone. In that movie , WU Xie met ZQL around 10-15 years before in this current time. And Wu Xie ( played by Lu han) is more energetic and not so naive. Sometimes I feel this is like Wu Xie's grandpa time instead of current Wu Xie time. Although, in here ZQL played by yang Yang, but in the movie version, the story is better and how they portrayed teh Tomb raider is like the others tomb raiders..some greedy uncles, and the ancient tomb with all the spider webs..and lots of traps. It's more enjoyable there and some funny moments. Wu Xie is carrying a camera and documented their journey...it's not like in the drama version..I found it's weird that he who live in smart phone era, he doesn't even take a single picture inside the tomb. Seriously!! If i was a tomb raiders..i would take dozens of pic inside the tomb. At least for your own diary/journal.
Watch Time raiders..you will have this feeling of Indiana Jones and Tomb raiders, & the Mummy
At lastt...a movie about the origin of Zhang Qin Ling.....and his tattoo...
I love this story more than the drama version. It's more exciting. It will give you Indiana Jones, the Mummy, and Tomb raiders vibe. I wish they make Time raiders 2 with the same director and screenwriter as this Time raiders crew.
I like Wu Xie here ..he is not as stupid as in the drama version. He is smarter . He is not boring too and not too naive. Although i am confuse about the time, since in this movie I feel like it happened 10-15 years before The Lost Tomb 1 but Wu xie is like the same age as in the Lost Tomb 1.
If they made the ending happily ever after the rating will be better...What a waste..it's actually kinda of my type drama..but the stupid ending made me abandon this drama

Yeah..the ending is actually happy ending although the one in the live action drama shows they are together in the painting. I was hopping they add more 1-2 episodes to show that at last they out of painting after FJY healed and they went back to that immortal mountain. I even hope that the mirror back alive . I like Zhao Lusi too.
I saw Zheng Ye Cheng for the first time in Love o2o. As i like Yang Yang too, but my eyes actually more to hao Mei ( Zheng Ye Cheng) and I even more interesting to the story between Hao mei and KO. Both ZYC and Vinc Zhang are my fave. I can see his potential as a good actor. Then I watched An Oriental Odyssey without knowing or reading first in here and saw him there..I was so happy when I saw him. Then I saw him in Lost live in Time..He was just a support role..maybe guest role since he is only appear in some episode and very short time. he is a really good actor , but unfortunately..in his beginning career, his agent is not so nice at him and most of his role although as ML got cut. Hopefully his agent is better now.

He is very good in acting and always take seriously...no matter as a Main Lead or just supporting actor. I saw when he is practice the martial arts and wearing the wire..he is really good and nice actor. Many times his role being cut alot just to make the 2nd lead more appearance..and I hope more main roll for him in the future. He is very good in Historical/costume wuxia /XianXia drama . He is so beautiful in Love of Thousand Years..

She is..the worst she asked her to company her to try the clothes for their ( Si YU & Ou Yang) engagement day . What kind of a best friend like that? It's like you pour salt to teh wound. The best is Wei Wei...Funny thing,.. i never get annoyed of her since i saw her the beginning..I even found it funny.. And I am happy who she becomes later.
