That's fine, I completely understand wanting to read the novel. But no, any translations online are illegal. Any official story published on wwttpad are also illegal. The only time reading a fanslation online is okay, if its not published officially (I have a lot of pdfs of Chinese danmei). But please, the novels are beautiful and really not expensive. We want more official publications, so please support the author 😊
I've seen a lot of comments regarding the way the drama has been tagged (being a BL when it isn't). The drama itself is not a BL it is a bromance. But the original novel is a gay romance. Due to Chinese censorship laws, they couldn't include any of the love side of the story. It doesn't take anything much out of the drama as it is still beautifully done. But can people stop commenting saying is misleading or lying when it isn't. Just go read the novel. It's rather different anyway, again due to Chinese censorship laws! I too counter this. The special is confusing if you haven't watched the original. It takes a lot of the story out and just focuses on Wangxian (Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji). Watch original first then special otherwise you loose the feel of the drama! :)

It's not misleading. This drama is based of a Chinese Danmei called Mo Dao Zu Shi, which is a gay romance novel. But due to Chinese censorship laws they weren't allowed to portray it as what it is, a love story. They had to change it to bromance. But if you watch carefully you can see their interactions are more loving then brotherly. I highly recommend watching it, but also read the novel. It is rather different to the drama, sometimes better, sometimes not. The novel does get explicit towards the end mind you but only in the extra chapters. It has officially been published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. Honestly, give it a go. You will not be disappointed :)
0n the my 10th watch. Can't believe its been nearly 4 years and this show is still my number one!!! If there was a drama that I could forget every time I finished watching, it would be this one. So I can watch it over and over again. Read the novel 3 times, and currently live souly on fanfics XD

The story is pretty good, but it cant be termed as a BL, gay romance at all.The bromance itself is too subtle
This is based of a very famous Danmei called Mo Dao Zu Shi, which is a gay romance novel. The bromance in this far from subtle, you need to read the book to understand it. Due to Chinese censorships laws they had to change a lot within the drama. So yes, it can be termed gay, BL romance because that is what it is.
Is this worth the watch? Rewatching Together With Me because of MaxTul and completely forgot they appeared in this together. I do love dark, mystery dramas so is this worth it?

If anyone is interested in the Teacher's story, read the Manhwa "Behind the Desk". It's the story of the teacher. It's so cute and I highly rate it :) if you miss any of the characters I believe there it too, but don't hold me to that as it was near 2 yrs ago I read it I think... It's so cute but please don't read if your a minor it's an 18+

Read the Manhwa "Behind the desk" it's the teachers story. The man at the end is actually a new teacher who just started working at the school. If you read the Manwha it will explain all. Highly cute story and if you miss the characters, I believe there all in it too. Don't hold me to that as I read it nearly 2yrs ago I believe :)
