You can't judge a drama before it is out! And what if he has had one unpopular drama, not every drama he has played in is bad. Often they don't get the whole script when they decide, many times it isn't even finished when they start filming. They can't predict all the other factors either. So the script might have been intriguing, and then it just don't come together in the end.
Serious question: Is this a series that should appeal to Gen Z? I get the impression those main leads are supposed…
Gen X here, who can’t talk for Gen Z and the appeal. This is very relatable to me, and it feels like a good and healthy progress, where people meet and slowly fall for each other while getting to know each other in real life. This is how it always has been, until the society got smart phones, dating apps and stress into their lives. I find them really sweet and realistic, humans with flaws and awkwardness. Not people that has to be perfect, and I feel that this is something this director was good at portraying. Real people, not the perfection the modern world is striving for (and failing, because perfect has never existed).
