sometimes the actors are almost unrecognizable. they're pretty the way they're, I don't understand why they smoothen their skin to such great extent.

This comment addressees all the haters ( First of all, I can't believe that a drama with such a compelling plot has haters). Anyways since it has come to this, here's my response: "You must be watching this drama upside down. Try flipping your screen maybe. Also, I gotta call the drama police! We've got a taste emergency here! If hating great dramas as this one was a crime, you all would be in jail by now. I didn't know it was possible to be THIS wrong about something. Also, sorry you all lack the sophistication to appreciate a genius. Time to go back to kindergarten cause someone you all can't differentiate between a romcom and a thriller. THE POSTER IS SO PERFECT. And I think it's that scene from the novel where wan yifan hugs sang yan, who was fresh out of shower. Hence, the wet hair and drippy eyes. They're gonna serve premium angst!-

Ok so I just saw the new reuters of this drama and the bts, and honestly I am kinda sold on this one. I really think it's gonna be a great drama. IMO Bai jingting is perfect as sang yan. Why? because not only do I think he is visually spot on but I also think his acting is impactful. There was a reference to a mole on sang yan's face (not sure) in the novel and I saw bjt also has one his face, which makes him kinda hot. I am one who weighs an actor more on their acting prowess than visuals. I'm not really familiar with Zhang ruonan. Haven't really watched any of her dramas. But based on her appearance, she surely gives the porcelain doll image that's been mentioned in the novel. Glad they changed ZMY from playing sang zhi to zhong si qiao. She is better suited to play that role. Miaoyi and Ruonan , both have the baby face so they will better come across as besties than sister-in-laws with a 7 year age gap. Not sure who are playing the roles of Sang zhi and Duan Jiaxu, but I hope they just condense these two roles in the form of cameos. That would be better (altho I think it's unlikely to happen). Hope this drama gets released this year as I just can't wait. (PS: english is not my first language)

this is the kind of drama where you can't make a concrete opinion without watching the entirestory. As of ep 4, it is quite bland in my opinion (no offence to the actors) but the story is all over the place. The ending of ep4 shows that their might be improvement in the upcoming episodes. And I for once can't understand the writers' need to insert the criminal/thriller/mystery element in every other romcom? These dramas esp romcoms are meant to be entertaining and not spine-chilling. (THE RABBIT MASK IS GIVING ME THE WORST ICK)
