At first I thought Mike was maybe hurt and just lashing out but now he really seems manipulative and toxic... Wonder where they are going with this relationship.

Just curious, where did they say this? In that case they kind of changed their tune.

I'm not sure you know what thirsty means or you're just trolling. Why not let people have different opinions on a show without talking down on them?

What's that got to do with being thirsty? And you can understand the characters and the story and even like it and still critique parts of it...

I agree that scene and some of the writing decisions in the last couple of episodes were strange. They could've explained Yu Zhen's past and the singlehood rule without the ex showing up or taking up so much attention. I don't mind some drama but the main couple should still be center stage but it doesn't feel like they are anymore.
I wonder how they are planning to resolve everything properly with one episode left. I'm afraid it's going to be rushed.

That was my first thought too. Could still go both ways I guess, but either way he only messed things up.

Also it seems to me like the writer really wanted a dramatic show down where YZ runs after SL (and then they kiss before the credits roll) which is why they couldn't have them talk about their feelings like grown ups before that...

They started all this drama with the ex just way too late in the show and are giving it too much room. The best parts were the interactions between SL and YZ and they've barely shown any since episode 8.
And if they are really trying to make us like the ex now because he's "helping YZ and SL get together" that isn't working for me. Because 1) how self absorbed do you have to be to show up years later and be like "my ex needs my help to get over me" and 2) they would most likely already be together if he hadn't shown up.

I agree, the variety and the whole "will they or won't they" tension are what makes it so entertaining. Wouldn't want them to get together too early or easily.

So far I really like this show, it's cute and fun. I'm actually surprised some people here are calling Pi names because he's been mean to Mork or whatever. I mean until Mork confessed he never even seriously considered that Mork might like him, he only saw him as a rival. Maybe that's naive but not mean spirited. After the confession he didn't really know how to react and I'm not sure he fully believes him yet. And even if he believes him, he's not just going to suddenly return Mork's feelings... that's not how it works. Of course some things are a bit overexagerrated for comedic effect too and they have 12 episodes to fill so they're not going to get together in episode 5 already.

I still don't think there's anything wrong with discussing a drama on a site about dramas.

People are just calmly talking about a drama, nothing wrong with that. You are the one who's complaining and being rude about it.

What's the problem? There's no need to talk down on people who are just voicing their opinion. That's what this page is for.

Maybe they should have just made two separate shows for the two "main" couples.
One episode focusing more on one couple and the next on the other would have been fine but that's not what's happening here. And it's kind of disappointing if you prefer Saifah and Zon.

WTD seems a bit more mature compared to some of those teen stories to me. But yeah, it's a matter of taste in the end.

And I agree with the "I'm not gay" thing, that gets a bit tiring.

Not trying to change your mind, we all have our preferences after all :)
But this show isn't about teens/high school students. Pretty sure the characters are supposed to be in their 20s since they are working at the airport or as stewards.
