Cultivate and don't love anyone is what I take from this story
This drama was actually delivering on the comedy part, I laughed out loud and the jokes were well written and executed. Meanwhile, the drama of it all was lackluster.Plot conclusion - love suuuucks. Every bad thing happens because someone loves someone. Ofc, I'm exagerating to make a point, but many people are loving others to the point of unhealthy obsession. Story line was beautiful but either the translation wasn't that good or some plot points simply made no sense. Basically, love concurs all (but it also sucks).
Random slow motions in weird places for no reason.
Acting was good from the ML. The FL was so so with dramatic acting.
Visuals were really pretty, the sets were amazing, but camera work felt two dimensional (and there was this one 3 sec cut in in the one before last episode, from a high up angle, that was make from a different camera or something, worse quality and very weird that it was left in because it made no difference to the story) and not working to the full potential of the vibrant sets that the actors worked in.
Music was OK.

Prepare for your heartstrings to be obliterated
Steadily becoming one of my all time favorite dramas. Highly recommend to watch it.From the first five minutes you can already see the beauty of the setts and attention to detail on this show. It's not ''pretty'' in a way where everything is glanced over and nothing ever gets dirty, but it's beautiful because what's supposed to look ugly looks ugly and what's supposed to look beautiful looks like poetry. There isn't just violence depicted, it's brutality with a light hand of someone who doesn't care or has no other choice.
The plot is quite dramatic from the very beginning, giving the first episode high stakes feel of political manipulation, family tragedy, morality and betreyal. But it's clear that the story follows and concentrates on the women and how they have to live with the consequences of decisions made by men in mens world.
I had tears in my eyes by the middle of the first episode because the acting is absolutely phenomenal, starting from extras to leads. The plot really is gripping, I had to stop every few minutes to write down my observations and also stop myself from crying. Didn't succeed.
The lived house spaces are smaller, darker and fuller with opulent furniture, art and everyday knick-knacks, giving an interesting feel between a museum exhibition and cosy rooms.
Wigs are very high quality and look natural. Costumes look amazing, colourful, heavy fabrics, beautiful designs. Makeup is not over the top.
The camera work is dinamic and brilliant, I would even say innovative in a way how it gives wider shots from above. Colour play is used masterfully to convey gravity of certain scenes and the show leans quite a bit towards the darker tones at the beginning. Slow motion, albeit often, is used well to emphasize scenes. Music is beautiful and complements the set up.
P.S. Nobody can write just normal, healthy MLs who don't act posessive, jealous, controlling or psychotic. While on the surface many things hapenning in the drama are cute, even seen as romantic, at the root of it they are violating womens autonomy just on a human level. Seeing how smart this script is, I hope this is intentional, otherwise bringing the ML into all the tropes and making him act selfishly, while serving it as romance, is very much not cool. But I choose to believe that this too follows the depth of various human aspects and irepeating fate patterns nvestigated in the drama so far and is a retrospect of how violance against women is being romanticized in media.
