This drama is pure bliss and I don't know how to let go. This type of love is something else, you can feel it sink deep in your bones... it's warm and profound and it has the power to make you forget yourself for a little moment. Everything, from the colours of the lighting to the quotes and the lines, everything is pure emotion that speaks directly to the heart. I love and loved it in every detail.
Ok i can't take it anymore... The mother is a despicable human being. Ffs. And the worst thing is that it is not difficult for me to believe in the existence of people like her irl. My God what a terrible parent... She's not even worth it to call her a mother. Some people are just not capable to take care of someone rather than themselves. I've not finished it yet (still 3 episodes to go), but I hope YiFan will keep her distance from that person once and for all. She deserves better. For some people there is no chance of redemption or forgiveness whatsoever.
i think in last ep they show ZX coming from the door and meeting everyone
Watching it at first I misinterpreted that too, but then I noticed that it was all in the past… and my hopes crushed out of the window… (sorry to have crushed your hopes too 🙏😅)

Could be a credible solution, but still, I’m not convinced. It would take at least three weeks to fully recover from those bruises and wounds, and so she waited almost a month to give back the apartment’s keys to the owner? It’s just a minor detail but it doesn’t work from a realistic perspective.

That was in the past, on the first day of Gu if I am not mistaken. When they took the photo with everyone in the new team. ZB is remembering that moment while hanging the photo in the new office in the ending part.
No but in ep 2 in the ending scene when Sang Yan goes back to Yifan's apartment... the bruises he had on his face were miraculously gone? 🤦🏼♀️ A pretty evident mistake tbh 😬
Darn it! You're telling me I'm not gonna know if Zhao Xiao will ever wake up again?? ☹️ I love so much this team, I want him back in it! This is a really good drama and the ending is just as good... but now I'm a little sad, soo... in my head he'll wake up in one or two months and finally marry Nan. Here: happy ending for everyone 🤝 🫡
Mmm I'm still on episode 1, but the cartoon-like sounds of the magic tricks are making me going nuts... some effects…
Aaand here I am, just finished it. (It was a hell of a ride, and I need more 😭) I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Y'all were right: this drama is worth the watch. This is really good. From episode 10-14 I started to love it and now that it ended I can feel the void. The story is beautiful and it shifts the attention from the effects (also the magic tricks get better after few episodes) and the props. And honestly, halfway through I totally stopped to pay attention to those things too, the characters and the story captured all my attention. The actors were also really good. WeiYin (the way LanZhan pronounced it every time— my poor heart) his eyes hit me in every scene. Beautiful. The blind trust and loyalty between Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian was heart-wrenching... and now I want to read the novel. Because I need to know how deep their relationship can go, and I want to stay a little more in this world with all of them. ❤️🩹
Mmm I'm still on episode 1, but the cartoon-like sounds of the magic tricks are making me going nuts... some effects and the props are a little off too (like bad halloween costumes). Is it gonna be better in the next episodes? Is it like a "pilot thing"? (Idk maybe I'm at fault for comparing it to the wrong dramas, LBFAD for example, I loved the magic tricks and effects there). Or maybe it's a 2019 drama thing?... I'm not an expert of this genre~
I'm on episode 3 and I'm liking it... but now I am traumatised... the ML is 22 yo ??? No but for real 😱 I expected something like 1997/1998... not 2002 🙊 Seriously HOW is it possible? He seems sooo much more adult than that!
Omg. Can’t believe I waited so long to watch this. I just finished it and my heart is still there with them. I loved it so much I can’t even explain. (The ending was a bit rushed but thanks god they let us see what I really needed to see.) Beautiful actors, beautiful chemistry, masterly acting. I’m so fully and completely in love. 🥹
The Mob/bad guys part lacks tons of credibility and it's a little childish and boring too, in my opinion. The dynamics between Tattoo, Hoy and the others are sometimes on the verge of the grotesque. Frankly speaking, I can't not skip those parts, it's a torture. The whole story of the "Robin Hood" thief is very improbable and badly written and, even if the plot seems to have a good flow, there are too many holes and nonsense placed here and there to result credible enough. But... there is a big BUT here -> Even tho the overall plot is lacking, the basic line is good and all the important feelings: the resentment, the angst, the hope of redemption and the uncertainty are well portrayed. And more important: War acting is undeniably good and Yin has improved a LOT, both of them together keep the series going. The granny and the girl are beautiful actresses too, and I'm really enjoying all the parts with the four of them in it. Cinematography too is on a pretty good level (I'm pleasantly surprised) and that for me is enough to keep watching till the end.
I actually think Ping's acting was on point in the shower scene. He's portraying an 11-grader lol. He's supposed…
Nooo that’s not what I was expecting 😅 I just think Ryu conveyed the desire and those kind of feelings in a better way in that particular scene… Zen’s reaction didn’t wholly fit the feelings of the moment. But I think that’s just a matter of taste atp

Ahah yeah I get it. That face. 🤦🏼♀️😂 I agree it’s a natural thing the awkwardness and everything else obv, I just expected more feelings involved in this case cuz it’s not like something “just for fun” or “just to try” for the both of them, they love and care for each other. I mean that together with shyness and awkwardness I would have preferred to see more desire and feelings too (mostly from Zen’s side). That’s all… also given all the absurd stuff they got through (mob etc 😂)… but still this is a Thai bl, so I’m not expecting it to be too realistic (and most of the time I love watching them exactly for this! 😂🫶)

Imo it showed more awkwardness than shyness… it’s like he didn’t feel the moment emotionally speaking (other than the insecurity of his first physical experience I mean)… Idk maybe it’s just me, but I think he should have been more exited/involved in the moment, also keeping in mind that he loves Ryu since years before (I know we’re talking about 16yos but all the killing and the street basket stuff is already out of their supposed age range)
Ouch... 🤧 Ping acting is driving me crazy in these last two episodes... I can't take him seriously in the romantic/hot scenes 🫠 The shower scene was sooo weak (and it definitely had good potential to be a lot more interesting... and I'm not talking about the smut side) Meen was emotionally on point but Ping 😬 that persistent smile ruined everything imo... Idk if that's a director choice in order to show the shyness of Zen's character or if it's just his acting, but it's a shame cuz this scene could have been better executed and I think Ping CAN act (as I already sad before, in dramatic scenes he is GOOD! So why? WHY??)... Idk I'm just upset I'm growing cold on their relationship rn... it doesn't delivers enough feelings... 💆🏼♀️
Second lead couple brought me here, and I can't complain, those two are perfect together 🥰. I love this drama! Didn't expect to be so involved, but it's really good!! 👏
I'm conflicted... I like this series a lot more than I expected, and a LOT more than the previous ones with Meen/Ping (always a very well assorted couple in terms of chemistry imo). It is written much better than the other ones, and the plot makes [ish] sense (the most of it at least 😂)... BUT it is all sooo rushed and approximate it makes me dizzy. Their story has great potential, but as of now (ep.8) I would have preferred to see more about Ryu & Zen's common past, I want to know their story, I want to FEEL their feelings more. I'm enjoying this series, and I'll wait for the next episodes, hoping in a story/relationship improvement, but I'd love to see more project with this couple in it, better ones, 'cause this series is ok, but still not credible at all. 🫠 Meen is a good actor, I like how he's improved in both dramatic and lighter scenes... Peem is also good in the dramatic scenes (he nails all the crying parts), but for the lighter ones he still has a lot to improve... I find him a little flat, same half-smiling expression for several different kind of emotions, it's not ideal and he needs to work on it more (the potential IS THERE). That said, there is a scene that hit me the most (in which I found both of them beautifully and realistically into the character) that one scene near the bridge (was it ep.3?), when Ryu and Zen were eating skewers sitting on the motorbike. Those expressions and interactions were GOLD, that was great acting and hot chemistry. And I'm here for it. 🤝
I've not finished it yet (still 3 episodes to go), but I hope YiFan will keep her distance from that person once and for all. She deserves better. For some people there is no chance of redemption or forgiveness whatsoever.
