What gave me the ICK was Gi hwan’s reaction to the school girls’ disappointment that the handsome guy was not him but Gi beom. But as the story progressed he seemed to be a kind and innocent one totally cutting him out of the suspect list to me even when Tae Joo suspects him at a point, I thought of it as another diversion. And maybe that’s why the reveal of Gi hwan as the culprit suddenly stroke me and made me go numb that I wanted to pause the episode to come in terms to it but couldn’t do that for seconds gosh!! The actor nailed Gi Hwan’s role🔥
Man Scarecrow is truly underrated here in MDL😟 What a roller coaster of emotions was this drama!!!! The thrill and emotional weight was blended so good. The second kdrama that I actually liked this. Solid 9.5 for me.

Just because LR is a romcom and not a slice of life or melo doesn’t mean it cannot have high ratings. And just because you feel that it doesn’t deserve the ratings also doesn’t mean it’s actually undeserving or that anyone’s opinion, whether yours or mine, is superior or correct. I’m just saying it’s not unnatural or so called bot behaviour to have 100k+ ratings or watchers within 2 years. Also the ratings in others platforms align with the ratings in here. It’s not really going off with the popularity just as you earlier said. Also, just as some commentators said earlier the top reviews are literally mass upvoted, whatever reason for that maybe, which is more unnatural imho.
For people who like a drama a lot it’s common and natural to stay in and follow that drama page for years. But seeing those who didn’t like the drama staying here even after 2 years make me wonder if they have really that much time in their lives instead of just simply moving on lol 😂
The controversy regarding PC is justifiable from the pov of Koreans. But saying as a foreigner, even in other countries, including mine has issues of historical inaccuracies all forms of media, but here the protest feels so much exaggerated. And the hypocrisy factor!!?? Another thing is that only one portion of people are those who has this enthusiasm about the historical inaccuracies, another major set is definitely the haters who where actively trying to drag the drama from the very beginning, now it’s guising under the history inaccuracy. Hope that Disney+ won’t take down Perfect Crown from global streaming. This drama and the team doesn’t deserve it.
