I think the reason for me (personal opinion) the last couple of episodes haven't been satisfying is BXS involvement in them (again a shame because I was so for his character in the beginning). I agree YH needs time to heal, and seeing them apart painful as it is, is also more realisitic then, hey we got back together straight away. But BXS, his involvement is pissing me off greatly, like an annoying stepping stone. Like the way he puts a murderous intent into YH and she automatically forgives him, even if it was for her benefit?! Like you've seen this murderous shadow kill so many others, it's such a dangerous thing, just it left me feeling peeved at the moment. I miss the light and fluffy with this show. I'm hoping after episode 27 we get back on track to where we were.
I wish they'd kept BXS as the supportive friend instead of SML, now he's becoming a little annoying, which is a shame cause I really loved his character earlier on.
I am not sure if it was translated correctly, but I read that the screenwriter who wrote the first 14 episodes…
I am noticing a split about how it's changed from episode 14, I'm still loving it, but I dislike how yeah they're third-wheeling the main lead. I enjoyed BXS when he was fan-girling, not really a fan of making him a love interest
I PREF this drama than « starry love » or « TILL the end of the moon » because in « back from the brink »…
It's wonderfully refreshing to see a healthy relationship, isn't it? I like that their difficulties will probably come from trauma as opposed to the usual drama trope of no communication
This drama continues to exceed my expectations, and how seemlessly we go from hilarious to heartbreaking. Tian Yao is in my top favourite ML's, it's so refreshing to see a drama where the male lead doesn't bully his beloved.
I just love how much more deeply they're delving into the mythology here, as well as showing the consequences of Lee Yeon leaving his post as the mountain god.
It's a good rom-com
