only saw ep 1 so far. she(FL Kim Hye Yoon) is soooo cute! 💜

damn it - I finished it and seriously, I don't think I would ever rewatch it. and I do regret this because for now I loved the characters he played but also the story. in this drama his character is also outstanding (referring to his military rang, being run over a car, being shot and just stands up again). but he actually made it believable for me. his wanting his wife to die didn't last long and psychologically made a bit of sense seeing the abuse from the whole family but much more importantly the non-interaction (no smiles,touches,hugs... just nothing with his wife for a minimum of 2 years I think). SML is a freaking love seeking but also narcissistic psycho. (his recognition in "the glory" wasn't better but he delivers his part acting wise. it's the story making him like this - like all the characters. I loved seeing the sneer of the couple matching lady , even if I despised her ;-) and I liked the aunt who stubbornly fought against the mistress and actually seemed to be a bit unhinged but stayed true to herself.
the mother ... I am.used to seeing the actress being good at some point but for me it was -unerved?- seeing her. the mistress - I even didn't like her in the recent remake but I think the villain suits her well. all in all I finally gave a 8.5 out of 10. the acting was quite good, especially for the FL. you could practically see her thinking in the act of her role and I did find that refreshing. the music is nice and the story told well. I life in Berlin and I can assure you the snow in Potsdam wasn't there so the pictures in motion have been done nicely as well. I am also disappointed but it was worth the watch!
for anyone interested in ML: my love from the star and it's okay to not be okay are great dramas.

I think I cant mak my point. unless by calling. which I hate. can I ask you to please just get my point in being uncortunable but still love the show? for now it is a 9 for mer. I really adore the main lead.

it's a bit difficult now. I only watched until ep 6 but from your comment both its screw up. previews of next episodes actually show the tragic of a normal life. which I can relate to. so, I really want to go with your assesment but this time I don't. it's really more a normal life - until ep 6.

I have seen you so much around and mostly I do agree with you. but I have to disagree now. the hurt in everyone is layered so much. granted I did not finish it yet.

I have watched a "documentary" of DPR IAN and the host came up at some point saying "I just can't!!!! I can't with this guy!" and he actually meant how brilliant it was.
I felt the same here but I won't say much now because I am only in ep 6.
tbh. seeing Kim Soo hjun colabarate with DPR IAN would be very interesting 🤔 anyhow. I am living in Berlin and I wished I knew they filmed so near just to just visit watch not ML, but especially FL!

there is a reason why I left my family as a single woman in the EU but in an Arabic environment by age 25 (late maybe). the reason has not been brothers, uncles , cousins ,(whatever make it in male range), but females, especially my mom and sister.
now I am living happily with my atheist partner for about 16 years. and I tell you - only contact I am having (all males and females broke up with me), is my mom and still I won't forget her behaviour and really just see her as a guest in my life. nothing more.

I am not so far on this drama but this seems to be my PDSD. (just imagine you have an disorder because of your parents ... what the heck?!) .

anyways. I don't think I can continue this but I will happily watch other dramas (please no noona if you can recommend?I love those women and want to be one but somehow don't really want to watch a drama about it)..

me thinks - I just watched two Disney movies merged together. we had the "true old king" aka FL dad, "stupid prince" aka Yi ZI He, "godmother of evil" aka nana, "knight in black armor" aka Qin Yun, "knight in white armor" aka ML, "whyiny sidekick who wanted all" aka uncle of FL, "evil controling puppetmaster of whiny guy" aka aunt of FL, "unhealthy but warm mother" aka FL mom and then a bunch more. I will leave out the evil stepsister because it's just too obvious ^^
really? what was that? I actually enjoyed it but head my eyes rolling from episode 17 (I think) onwards. and why I think it was two Disney movies? first story is ML and FL and second story could have written all on itself for SFL and the black knight - brother / cousins whatever he was in that family (the one who was a playboy and SFL roped up...) and in the end: TADA!!!! all are forgiven and if not dead (not in this drama, though) then they are forgiven because they somehow, within minutes redaimed themselves.

don't get me wrong, watched a lot of dramas but this one was just more than typical. i wonder when it was actually produced. fingers crossed that it was not 2023.

nevertheless, it was okay to watch. the few episodes with the mains were fire and the first half was super interesting in the actions all characters had. just the last third part was a bit "meh" for me.

I finished this one in fast forward - sadly. but for other reasons. As for the SML - didn't he interfere the next time because of the spiritual something that demishes th FL if she rescued ML and vice versa? I thought that was the point for him so that she doesn't die in the end.

don't be offend anyone but I thought the ML breakdown was the most hilarious and also his cries for "mooooom". so damn funny 🤣

well, it was still entertaining for me especially for watching the guilt pleasure 😅

look up the original creator and the crew. maybe the same background music because of that. I haven't started it yet so I can't confirm with you, sorry.

awwwww - very, very nice drama. of course there will be some off things e.g. mom recognizes the dude at first glance , mom can physically walks after one week?! what happened to OG dad, step-mom and brother? but hey, it's a short story book . all fine ;-) I was very satisfied with this art of work :-) very light, lots of chemistry and great friendship!

the uncle? in the last episode. but it's all vague. don't forget, this is actually a book.
