Its probably my favorite xianxia. Though I love other ones, the pacing in LBFD is the best in any xianxia I have watched.

Please be real.. but I dare not hope. An epilogue is really what this show needs.

I know same! I have actually grown to appreciate how well Dylan pulls it off. He is as adorable as Orchid in those episodes, with big doe eyes and clunky armour. And Esther jumping his bones his equally hilarious.

That part is a bit messy in the show, made me confused as well.

But no, he didn’t know or want that. He told his brother he had another way. Xufeng panicked when he realised DFQC was using the evil spirit. That's why Xunfeng gave Orchid the sword. I thing DFQCs plan was for his brother to haress and humiliate Orchid so the bracelet would fall off. It came across as risky tactic though, since he new his brother had the sword that could kill Orchid🤔

I love Orchid too. She had a spine from the verybeginning. Yes she was naive, but she was no doormat. And I think her lack of predjudice helped soften him towards her. In any other drama she would have poisoned him to betray him. Here she does it because she worries for him. And he is a lot gentler towards her after that.
