Another BL series very worthy to watch XD Man we have LOTS of great BL series this year. We've been spoiled rotten XD From what I read from the novel, this is gonna be a happy ending. I just don't know why because the climax chapter is being locked T^T The series only got 8 episodes because the novel is short too. Only 27 (or 28? I'm not really sure) chapters.
It's a beautiful movie. Akira's act still feel a little bit stiff but that's understandable since he was 16 during the filming. But I still love his portray of Taiki. It suits him well. Only a wish, but since the manga have a continuation, I really wish they will continue the movie too.
I am sooooo excited with this reboot XD The new director is one of the good director (watch his movie Present Perfect in youtube and you'll know what I mean) And the casts are said to be getting better and better with their chemistry and acting ability. And I completely believe that XD Also, it's a reboot, and the director said that we will get more than 10 episodes for this season. And JayBL said they've decided to cover all of the books although she didn't say if we're gonna get 2 or 3 seasons XD She's one of the best insider and information source so I believe everything she said. Another 2 BL series by Khun New are Until Me Meet Again (Based on the BL novel Red Thread by Lazysheep) and BroCon The Series. All three series is currently on audition process. Btw, JayBL officially translated Red Thread novel into English. And because she's currently translating My Accidental Love is You (LBC) she said MALIY is her priorities. But she said she will finish the translation before the series started. There're 2 books, but Khun New said he will make it into 1 season to prevent dramas. Well in the novel, the couple ARE AePete and TinCan. As KlaNo and TumTarr are actually part of another 2 separated novel by the author (KlaNo have their own novel called "How to Secretly" and TumTarr are part of the novel "TharnType Story" which is announced as a new separated series with all new casts) In the novel, Ae is more active,possessive, and pervert XD The series intimate scenes are already toned down for at least 75% from its original version. Just FYI, the author made lots of novel that we called "LBC Universe" with different time line and couples. First novel is "Test Love" with 3 couples. You probably know one of the man because mentioned his name in episode 11. It's Ai Sun, Pond and Ae's high school friend. Ae shows up in this novel too, and lots of readers like him, so the author decided to write him a separate novel called "My Accidental Love is You" which made into Love by Chance The Series. Remember when Pond talk about "Top and Bottom" with Ae? He knows about it from Ai Sun's little sister, who's a hard core fujoshi, during their high school time. In the novel, Pond and Ae's high school friends appeared few times. But it was cut out in the series and they only appeared in the beach scene. Lots of scenes in the novel is being cut out, but it makes sense because book 1 itself got like 546 pages and it's VERY thick. MALIY have 2 novels and 1 special chapter book. And it's being translated into English as I type. The author will announce on her twitter once it's finished and international fans could buy the e-book version. I don't know about the physical book version yet. But I think if lots of inter fans interested, she will try to produce the physical books too^^ Sorry for the long and messy answer^^
My biggest disappointment with this show has to be TinCan, wtf I want my happy ending.
Well the series was first made with the expectation for season 2. But all the dramas during the broadcast made the director disappointed and decided to halt the production for season 2. But worry not my friend. We still have hope for season 2. Even if it's not for this year. The author her self said that she would become the happiest person if season 2 is happening, but she will also become the saddest person if the same drama happens. Both the director and the author need a break. So let's just wait patiently^^
